It isn't that easy, the two games would not fit in Parnell Pk without tickets, and I presume that Antrim did not wish to move the hurling to Tullamore.

Why not? Parnell Park holds 13500. It 's highly unlikely Offaly and Kerry will bring more than 3 or 4 thousand between them and Antrim at most might bring 7 or 8 thousand.

Saffron manager Liam Bradley has already hit out at the choice of venue for the qualifier against the Kingdom.

Following discussions between Antrim and Croke Park on Tuesday, an earlier start time was announced.

Bradley believes the game should be staged at Parnell Park in Dublin after the Saffrons hurling side play Offaly.

"It's a disgrace - you've got these bureaucrats at Croke Park who haven't a clue," Bradley told the Irish News.

"You would have got 7,000 or 8,000 Antrim fans going to Dublin but you'll be lucky to get 1,500 at Tullamore."

He added: "Antrim hurlers are playing Offaly at Parnell Park and it was obvious to put the footballers on after them for a double-header.

"I hear they're using the U2 concert at Croke Park as an excuse and the Kerry supporters will have trouble getting into Parnell Park. Sure

there'll be no Kerry people at it anyway."

I think your right Liam!!!

How do cars from the north pay at the new toll gate on the M50?

Will tickets be on sale at the ground on Sunday?

Can anyone lend me 50 euro? I'll pay you back never.

You have to go to any payzone outlet and pay your fee by 8pm the day after going through the toll otherwise they double the charge!

You can find your nearest payzone outlet and other ways to pay at www.eflow.ie

There are no tickets required for this match you can pay at the gate. 15 Euro to stand and 25 Euro to sit.

Typical clueless decision from GAA headquarters again. Have these people no idea about how much it costs ordinary people to travel up and down the country to see their county teams play. Last summer over one weekend; Cork SH, SF & U21 Hurlers played in three different venues on Fri, Sat & Sun. That caused hugh uproar down here and you might have thought some common sense approach might be taken in future decision making committees!!!

Clones is the traditional venue for the Ulster Football Final and it should be kept there. This might be the only chance for some Antrim fans to be in Clones for an UFF (pardon the abbreviation!) with Antrim actually playing there. I have been to a few UFF's but never though I'd be at one with the Saffrons playing and you never know they might pull it off and complete the double! The hurling final is played in casement and all we have to do is raise the standards of half the Ulster counties and we'd have a hurling championship to match Munster and a venue to match Thurles!
