Its called sleep apnoea and 'is a breathing disorder characterised by brief interruptions of breathing during sleep'. The name comes from the Greek word apnoea meaning 'want of breath'.

Anyway thats what they sent me when I was diagnoised with it. I'm not allowed to drive and they have to fit me with a 'darth vader' sleep mask called CPAP - Nasal Continuous Positive Airway Pressure.

Ah sure I am up at all hours of the day and night. I could sleep for 8 hours, get up for 2 hours and be asleep 2 hours later. There is no option but to lie down the tiredness is so bad. I would toss and turn like a mad thing at night too. I have the better half driven demented.

Doctors told me if a person is over weight it can worsen the condition.
More tossing than turning id say

LOL ;D

I'm still waiting on the mask. It could take at least 6 months. Doesn't help either that I also have a limp from trapped nerves!

Look if not driving saves his life and the life of others then thats the way it should be.

Joxer goes to Stuttgard by Christy Moore (the uncensored version) is the best soccer song of all time!! (Ok I know it was a Euro Championship but the song is class). Every English World cup song is crap.

I reckon what now is needed is for Sinn Féin to set up as a party in England proper. Let the elected officials from England hold down Westminister Seats and use their seats as a method to sway more weight behind a united Ireland!  ;D

Anybody who votes for SDLP is the same as a bloody Fianna Fáiler. They are linked together last I heard. That is enough to tell me that the SDLP really is SCUM.

Could give the job to Martin McCabe, brother of the famous Cavan McCabe. He had several of the Westmeath panel on his team when he managed Garrycastle. He is no longer Garrycastle manager and as far as I know is only coaching junior sides at the minute. He'd be worth a shot.

They had the lab tech tell me that she had accidentally dropped and broken 208 blood slides that had taken me half the day to prepare.

She was telling me over instant message that she was very sorry and that she would help me re-do them tomorrow as much as she could, but that she was going to be pretty busy so I might have to do most of them...

I replied and told her that I was just in the middle of sending out an email to inform the group that I was taking tomorrow and monday off to celebrate easter and go to disneyland, and so that while I would have totally helped her if I was there, she was going to have to do all 208 by herself.

Ah it was a bloody good attempt!

I got a notebook at Christmas. Seriously lighter than an ordinary laptop. Much less battery power. Great on a train. You might need a portable dvd rewriter to go with it or just rely on a good USB key. I wouldn't touch a Dell with a 40 foot pole they are over-rated. Get a portable 1TB hard drive and you don't need to worry too much about space on the notebook.

This is Pure Muck. I don't find it a bit funny at all.

Fianna Fáil will be healthy this year as they keep eating their Greens.

Heard on the weather forecast today that the Gulf Stream is miles away from where it would normally be off the Irish Coast at this time of year and this is responsible for the ongoing cold weather. Hard to know if this is complete tripe to boast the Green agenda or if this happens so rarely that people take note when it does.

Who is Catherine Tate? I've never heard of her. Must be on one of the foreign channels, like BBC or Channel 4.

I disagree totally she is great. Fierce funny stuff altogether. She is wonderfully talented. Secondly RTE do, do great comedy. Zig & Zag, Dustin, Podge and Rodge, Killinascully, Anonymous, In the name of the Fáda etc.

Also I have been very impressed by Enda over the last few days, Gilmore was good too and have to give credit where credits due Caoimhín O'Caoláin was good too (he really should oust Gerry Adams).

The only problem with Caoimhín being boss is that its harder to spell his name, but I agree, it is high time for a change of leadership in Sinn Féin.
