Jerome McElroy sat game sun game Cathal O'Hagan Clonoe and Dromore the happier of the teams I would imagine
Having stood behind the clonoe dugout area at the carrickmore game I seem to recall Jerome Mc Elroy was doing the line and was tottally intimidated from start to finish by both Cassidy and maybe more so his assistant who shadowed him up and down the line guldering in his ear to put a flag up for every decision and have to say it worked almost every time , that man will never be strong enough to withstand the same presure x10 as a ref when he folded easily as a linesman.
Why does that man mcnamee never get a big game best ref in tyrone in my opinion.
Also agree with previous poster as to how does cathal o Hagan get to referee Dromore again are referees in that short supply?Having watched alot of club football in Tyrone this past few years these refs wud be ok or exc.
McNamee  exc
McHugh    exc
D O Neill    exc
Hurson      exc
COHagan   ok ex ardboe
sludden     ok ex clonoe and louth
Clithero     ok ex ardboe

Brutal

McConnell
McCarron {Done the stown galb game}
McCaffrey
why can referees from different counties not do each others games then no club favouritism or presure cab be applied ?

Senior Championship Weekend !

Lets get the ball rolling.

One big game this weekend. Omagh v Dromore. Lets hear views on the game and the outcome.

Clonoe game will be an easy victory to them in my eyes.

I agree, I genuinely dont see anything other than a very comfortable win for Clonoe

The other game is quite the opposite though. Before the QF I would certainly have fancied Dromore in this fixture but Omagh in form with the quality players they have will take some beating. Im still going to say Dromore by very little. They will shackle O'Neill and the Omagh forwards a lot better than the Blues managed to and will have the upper hand physically.
I Agree clonoe have to be red hot favourites but having played against Derryloughan earlier in year I can tell you their forwards pace are scary and if they get enough ball they will cause damage.
Cant see them winning but may be alot closer than most imagine!

you see boys and girls, its taken a Derry man to point out that this is by no means a foregone conclusion. we will be favourites, but the slightest complacency in our team and/or a couple of lucky breaks and we'll be gone
hope so , hope the underdog comes through as that Cassidy is an arrogant Pri#k no disrespect to the clonoe lads.

No! Another team who has been on a bad run after accepting a defeatist attitude. To succeed you need a winning mentality. Throwing points willy nilly to clubs as favours is no benefit when it comes to the must win championship format.
Such a crying wee bitch moortown spuds get over it Moortown were beat by 95%of div 1 teams and no points were threw around from the islands point of view or I am sure eglish dry ur eyes your gettin repetitive!

Omagh unsuccessful with their u21 appeal. Eglish awarded u21 title. A terrible end to a competition made worthless this year.

Surely, it is totally hypocritical of the Tyrone County Board to include a Derrylaughan player in all their McKenna Cup after they had given him a substantial suspension for his part in the riot with Omagh in the U21s.

Is this not sending out the wrong message?
Dry your ey!s ye cryin shower of omagh self righteous pr#cks ! Your chb that got lined started the whole row by runnind through the dkb subs and taunting them also up on 20 subs sprinted the width of the field to get involved compared to around 4 dkb subs , and incidently you lost the row as well as stealing the result with a half assed ref from the west on your side!!Our lad served his suspension as did the rest with no bitchin spare us all the whiter than white shit.Congrats to Eglish.

Hearthe lads at the washingbay are none too happy with the county board fixtures comm they app had discussions with the powers that be to make sure no local fixtures would take place next Friday 13th as they have a major Fundraiser in the form of a boxing night involving up to 12 local clubs and have a substantial investment made, this app fell on deaf ears as three or four local clubs involved have res cship at 715 the same night , so much for the county helping out the clubs!!!They now have to alter the programme  to allow those clubs fighters to be on later. On a lighter note i see they have the parish preist fighting in it along with that wee rat Barry McElduff mla and a few grudge matches involving a few tight bucks around the loughshore shud be a decent night might head .

Here here Ziggy. Badly needed by club and county.
Coalisland have some chance to beat Carmen in Carmen on Sunday. A side without McGurk, Gaby McCallan, Finney Magill, Roana McNally and now Conor Gormley is well weakened. The newcomers done very well against Greencastle but a sterner test awaits on Sunday.
I would just like to say that Eugene McConnell has to be one of the most "look at me" referees of all time. Both sets of supporters and indeed some players were laughing at him.

I know of an east tyrone team that would tar and feather him as county youth officer at the minute for grading their under fourteen team in grade two with only two lads over twelve !!And apparently if that wasnt bad enough he proceeded to group them with Errigal ciaran in the feile nog tommorrow, by all accounts a very incapable arrogant asshole on a power trip .

Philly Jordan may be out for the year due to injury, but weve all discussed this before, I reported a while ago that there was word of Ricey going, could this be true?
Wouldnt worry about rumours eminating from this clift , same guy was on the derry thread a while back professing to be a cousin of young Andy McCartneys whos starting for derry on sat night ,that the lad was only interested in sitting in pubs around Ballyronan and had no interest in playin county football.

Read on Hoganstand there that Omagh have appointed Paddy Crozier as manager and Ryan Porter along with him. Hardly any truth in that? I take what i read on HS with a pinch of salt now after some of the rumours ive seen in the past few weeks.

Omagh certainly spoke to Crozier in recent weeks...
They certainly did but pcroz not taking them   !
