If you have an 02 mobile phone account in the ROI:

Are you having problems receiving notifications about voice mails?

Are you having problems receiving delivery reports after you have sent a text message?

If so how long has it been happening?

After the recent events in Parnell Park where a senior Dublin player was assalted by a Meath Fan by having a boiling hot cup of tea or coffee thown at him we must ask ourselves where the association is going, a few weeks ago there was a similar incident in Mayo where the player then reacted. Sould these counties be banned to stamp this shocking behaviour out?

i think Meath should be decucted points from this league campaign as we cant have the Hooligans turning a nice day out with the family into an unfriendly atmosphere. And we cannot put players in this enviroment where they feel unsafe and play in the fear of being assalted with boiling water being thrown at them.

I'm not sure that fan hooliganism is more of a problem than having players assaulted by officials that are already on the pitch. Perhaps the team from whom that effort emanated should be docked points too in fairness?  :-\

GAA Discussion / Re: Dublin Vs Meath

Tommy Carr was saying tonight on Newstalk that he expects a lot of hefty suspensions (two months) to be handed down to many of those in the brawl after the CCCC look at the video evidence. By his reckoning the Dub guys would miss one Championship match and the Meath lads two matches.

On another note: Paul Caffrey really has to take responsibility for the indiscipline in the guys he sends out on to the pitch - instead of congratulating them (Vaughan) when they get sent off.

Apparently Dublin have received nine red cards since Jan (O'Byrne & NFL) and had a Statistician suspended for head-butting.

That speaks for itself. It is not good enough - and there we are lecturing the Aussies about conduct on the pitch!!!!!

It is all about the Dubs! The world revolves around Parnell Park - aye indeed!

Siobhan Madigan was doing a sports report on the Marian Finucane show a few minutes ago. She said:

"The GAA season began last night in Parnell Park when the Dubs took on Wicklow!"

Has Monaghan not already played against QUB this season in the McKenna Cup - one week ago?

Will 2008 be the year that the Dubs realise that the Universe does not centre on them?
