Errigal beat a poor Moortown and depleted Omagh, Dromore beat a poor Eglish and depleted Ardboe, Killyclogher beat a poor Kildress and a woeful Derrylaughan, Carrickmore beat a poor Trillick and an over-rated Coalisland team. Winners?? Simple - Carrickmore! (Hopefully)

The Irish have to be the most obsessed bunch of people with claiming celebrities or sports stars as one of their own. The Irish Daily Star is constantly at this with celebs who have an Irish great-grandfather or something similar! If Rory McIlroy wants to be known as British, what is the harm in that? Its how he was raised, the same as James McClean saying he's Irish. It doesn't make him a bad person and he's not trying to offend anyone. He had to choose one or the other and he chose what he thought was best and I'm pretty positive it had nothing to do with sponsorship deals! The 20 million in his bank would back that up.

As Ardboe minors found out, if you break the rules, you must be punished. What's good enough for Ardboe minors is good enough for Dromore seniors.

Clonoe and ardboe worth a bet there. Might have a bit of that.

Clonoe, yes. But Ardboe-have you seen their team or recent results?

He's being his usual smartass self there. If Donaghmore don't beat a reserve Ardboe team then dmore are as bad a senior team there's been for years. In saying that donaghmore have been embarrassing for a number of years now.

Not a bad player but would hardly call it a 'major blow'.

You must be some player yourself.

Have to agree with EC, Tommy has slipped down the pecking order and wouldnt have played much of a part in the first team.  Few of the young fellas have moved above him
Prob due to his knee problems no?

There's something in the back of my mind quite some time ago of a Fintona player who was called up to play for Tyrone in I think it was an NFL game

That is scandalous

Almost as scandalous as donaghmore winning something in senior football. How long?

Oh my god, these poor men. Someone please get them help for their suffering, do me a favour people. Its quite simple really, if you sign up to this twitter sh** then you set yourself up for abuse and can't complain when you receive it. No one asked for them to join it and I'm sure the world can cope without hearing what bernard brogan is having for dinner.

Sorry but I don't understand where all this sympathy is coming from for derrytresk. I'm a tyrone man who would obviously love to see them win BUT from just looking at the video, no matter who started it, its clear to see the derrytresk substitutes and officials jumping onto the field of play to get involved in a fight. Provoked or not you simply cannot do this and in the rules of the GAA you must be punished. Unfortunate for derrytresk but that's the way it is.

Mickey Coleman is a big man hitting a player than cannot strike back.

Cowardly act if you ask me.

Dromores defence is the best in tyrone, Ricey and McCarron are playing sublime football and there forward unit is very dangerous.

Team to beat.
You're obviously not that big of an ardboe man if your defending peter ward. The man bounced into colemans face and expected nothing in return?? Catch yourself on you idiot. Ward deserved everything he got and more. Fair play to coleman if you ask me. Coleman didn't even do anything to ward in the first place. Overdue that hiding if you ask me.

On watching last nights game, what is it about referees that when they send a player off, they always try their best to even it up by sending an opposing player off as soon as they can? O'hagan sent mcguigan off last night for the slightest of tugs on a jersey yet let mccullough stay on field after taking out the ardboe defender with a knee high challenge. Then when remembering he was already booked, ohagan put his book back in the pocket. Poor decision by the ref but ardboe once again only have themselves to blame. They lost control of themselves at the end.

Snippets do us all a favour and wind that neck in. Omagh have done absolutely nothing to suggest they can win an oneill cup never mind an all ireland. They'll be doing well to just get over donaghmore next week.

Would ExcellentDriver like to elaborate on his remark in the derry county board pages about his fellow clubmen for us tyrone followers?

Not a good week for gaa in tyrone and especially officials. Last nights events coupled with the kildress manager striking an umpire in a league game on wed night certainly leaves a sour taste in the mouth.
