Be surprised in McKernan lines out for Tyrone again this year. Looked sore going off. Then again same fella would try and play through any pain.

Armagh making a right good defense of their All ireland. Whole lot better than the effort Tyrone made in 2022. They do look the best equipped side to go on and win back to back. They had been knocking on the door for a few years and I would have thought that after winning last year, then may have been off the boil this year. They look to be in decent shape. Still beatable though.

Young Kerr heading over to England to play soccer. Apparently is very good.

The best 8 teams in the country are in D1. Likely that Tyrone and Derry will go down but they will still be in the best 8 teams next year but playing in D2. Very tight and tough D1, someone has to go down. Football is more enjoyable this year.

Black card! Where could the Mayo player go?

Shocking first half from Errigal. They seemed a bag of nerves and Cuala took full advantage. Cuala were so good in the first half but looked very average in the second half but only needed to add a few points to stay ahead. Cuala pressed all the EC kick outs and EC couldn't get a ball. Peter Harte fouled in the build up to one of Cuala's goals in the first half. Some refs will blow for the foul on the arm when trying for a hand pass. That said Errigal allowed Cuala the whole way up the field to score.

Harte had some second half. If they had Darragh on the park, maybe just maybe. Anyway Errigal did save a bit of face with the fight back in the second half. Only the defender knows if he intentionally hit Darragh. I don't think he did, it is just a split second timing.

Errigal will probably get knocked out in the first round of Tyrone this year!

Just 5 years ago. In fairness some turn around in fortunes for Derry but they never were a division 4 side anyway.

Kerry player bounces the ball twice before passing to Clifford for his first point from play. Very hard for refs to spot these things in real time.

Mattie Donnelly spoke and looked like a young Kieran McGeeney in that post match interview on TG4.

QuoteIf Galway bate Meeyowestros next weekend by two points but TV that night confirms that the scorer of the winning goal took 9 steps before kicking the ball.....?

Not a good comparison. That is a technical foul. The rule book says if you field an incorrect number of players then there are consequences, which can include losing the game or a replay. I assume there is a rule for playing a suspended player which could also mean losing the game or a replay. There are certain rules that if they are broken means you can loose a game that you have won on the field. The GAA should not be asking Glen to object to a rule that the GAA have in place. It is up to the GAA to enforce their own rule.

Any possibility Shane Walsh knows he shouldn't be there. If he plays out of his skin, he robs lads that have played together since they were cubs.

Where did they finish in Division 2?

Second. Eglish won the league.

Great win for Galbally. That Dunmore side were more than useful and the 3 goals against the breeze in the first half were very important as the game wore on. With the breeze in our backs in the second half we didn't kick on. To be fair the wind was very strong and nearly as difficult to play with it as against it. Shouldn't moan when you reach an All Ireland final but for what was the biggest game for most of these players lives, we had no National Anthem before the game, no national flag flying (that I could see), no PA announcement. Very poor set up for an All Ireland Semi Final.

Some occassion for all4 clubs next weekend. Playing in Croke Park, live on TG4. Magic stuff for the players.

Should be a rule that if you go down injured and physio comes on that you need to go off and only come back on at next break in play, unless yellow or red card given.
