the island be better playing on than waiting on tyrone's season to finish,
if tyrone make final they would have to play 10 league games in August with no guarantee their other county men won't pick up any injuries between now and then.

The Cookstown coach that got hit, entered the pitch first and man handled a Clonoe player. When a coach or supporter enters the field of play and interferes it usually leads to things like this.

This post does not read well. Are you saying that the person who was attacked is at fault for getting assaulted?

A ban for the individual will come and I hope it's heavy. But that the county board need to do is throw the book at the club so they change their internal culture and it sends out a message to all clubs.

will that happen? more likely to be swept under the carpet, a referee was stabbed at a youth game couple of years and cannot remember the book being thrown at the fintona club, likewise ardboe last year when the young lad gildernew was brutally assaulted.
You really should get facts right. It wasn't the referee for starters, the person involved was hospitalised after for his own wellbeing and you don't know that GAA didn't act or whether coming down on him in this instance was going to help things.

Quote from: GAAtrojan on June 22, 2025, 06:16:39 PMFintona trounce Beragh, fintona best team all over the field. With Beragh 5 star management team would rather shout at referees for cards than look at there own back yard!

On the other hand Archie Greene had fintona prepared to a tee and were good value for there 2 points.

I'm hearing at today's game greencastle putting in a complaint on the referees final score in there game v Beragh which resulted in a 1 point win for Beragh but greencastle have video evidence of the game which they say was a draw !!

Greencastle with an appeal no that wud never happen

Quote from: Grace Murphy on June 14, 2025, 10:00:08 AMDerrylaughan not panic - will have big Kennedy back for the crunch games

Stewartstown look like they going to drop from 2 after a hammering by a poor Kildress outfit

Clogher look strong in 3 but Cookstown will win it - Clogher can't even field a Ressie side and the Sizzlers are handing out some big thumpings! Jayo be the Mayor of Cookstown come November - Open top bus for another Div 3 League!!!!

heard tomas carney picked up a bad injury V donaghmore, would be a bigger loss for them if out for a while

moortown very hard to beat at home. was a draw between them and clarkes with ten mins to go last sunday, donaghy kicked couple of two pointers late on to clinch it, he was outstanding again tonite

while the clarkes only went back training a few weeks back and despite missing a lot of starters from last season was very impressed with the fianna today. they look fitter and sharper than 2024 and big McHugh was back for them and excellent in midfield with tiernan quinn up front doing a lot of damage. he looks to have shook off the injury he was carrying end of last season and cant understand why he's not in the county setup would be a better option that 1 or 2 others possibly.

Quote from: HalfBack7 on February 05, 2025, 11:14:33 AMAll not well in Gortin. Full Committee stepped away! :o
They terminated the link with Glenelly against previous agreements between the two clubs. Didn't sit well with a lot within Gortin.

From what I hear it's the opposite. A group of parents totally against the link with glenelly and have forced the committee out because of it

they want their children to play for gortin only
Where they playing for Glenelly sides at underage level?

Gortin & Glenelly combined are Both Domhnaigh
none of those teams are in the latest minor gradings but the gradings appear strange - a lot of teams in Grade 2 and only 3 teams in Grade 4.
