How many were at Armagh Tyrone match last weekend? Armagh people going on about the attendance at the Q final last year and all those fans missing out, they haven't been seen in the group stages, if they had then the match would have been scheduled for CP, you can guarantee it.

Not sure on numbers but there were more Armagh fans at the game than Tyrone fans. Fact.

Stay clear of The Pope's Exorcist. The acting is mediocre at best and the film isn't even scary.

I know it's much more nuanced but contrast the reaction in Serbia to the shootings to the US where life goes on very quickly after holdings a memoriam or two
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-65597622

Nothing nuanced about it. You have a completely irrational section of the US population who are entrenched zealots who will tolerate no limits whatsoever to their "constitutional" right to carry any weapon their delicate, insecure masculinity desires. Then you have the rest of the population who have basically given up because there is no prospect for change and mass shootings are now a mundane background feature of US life, same as car accidents or heart attacks. You just hope that it doesn't hit your family and that the active shooter drills your kids do in school (and you do at work) will limit the damage if it should happen.

It's easy to see why the Founding Fathers added the Second Amendment. In 1791, the United States had no police force, was under threat from Native American tribes and a probable British re-invasion and was a rural nation where farmers had to deal with wild animals. Allowing gun ownership was feasible in that society. However in 2023, when there is a police presence and the murder rate has skyrocketed, therefore allowing guns makes no sense. So, while the Constitution may grant these rights, they are antiquated and should be repealed.

Some of the world's finest players have been connected with a transfer to Saudi Arabia. Following in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo, the World-Class players are speculated to be joining the Saudi Pro League. I see Kanté is very close to joining Al-Ittihad (same club Benzema joined last week). Rather than the MLS, it appears like Saudi Arabia is the new retirement home for players.

I wonder will Messi follow suit?

Has anyone ever visited the transfers and sanctions section of the main GAA.ie website? https://www.gaa.ie/the-gaa/rules-regulations/transfers-and-sanctions
On there you could view live inter-county transfer lists and foreign sanctions.
The link to view these however seems to be broken. Anyone know what has happened?

It doesn't seem to be working for me either. A pity as I always found it interesting to have a browse of it from time to time.

Davy Burke is certainly belting a great tune out of Roscommon at the moment, topping Group Three on scoring difference, everyone enjoying their football. Enda Smith is in great form, everyone is playing to their strengths, and there's total buy-in too.

How far do you think they will go?
