Did Liverpool really  need Isak? Sure didn't they  already buy 2 or 3 strikers in the  summer?  Things aren't right since he  came aboard

I'd say they weren't expecting to get Etitike and Isak but I suppose the way it worked out they probably couldn't not sign Isak when the chance was there.
I don't think Isak is the problem anyway, it's the form of Salah and McAlister and a few others from last seasons title winning team which is a bigger problem.

Newcastle put everything into that last night as if it was a Cup final all because of this Isak saga and ended up with a sending off and losing players to injuries and zero points.

Liverpool winning goal was superb, not quite up there with Barnes-Rush-Barnes-Collymore closing in.. Kevin Keegan hangs his head!.. but it was almost as sweet!

But it was the referees fault Bruno missed the penalty so really it should have been a 2-1 win.

Not sure how it was given as penalty but then Man United's goal was allowed to stand even though there was a clear push.

I thought Arsenal without playing well looked pretty comfortable for most of it and got the job done. They definitely have a few extra gears to go up as the season goes on, do Man United?
While Man United played ok in parts they never really looked like they had the confidence to go and win the game.

This sort of thing probably happens dozens of times in every ground, fair play to the player for calling it out though. Hopefully this person will be banned if he did indeed say something racist.

Womens sport just isn't equal with mens. The last major example of this from last weekend was Wimbledon. Swiatek won 6-0 6-0 in the final and got the same pay as the mens winner Sinner who won in 4 sets in a best of five set game. Nobody says a word about it for fear of being called sexist.

Same with boxing.

The average man would probably happily play a game of football against pro women and be competitive against them, doubt many of us would be happy stepping into a boxing ring against a pro woman boxer though.
