Quote from: Windmill abu on December 21, 2025, 11:11:25 PMIf I have read this right, killing pigs, cows, chickens, etc. Is OK as long as we don't enjoy their deaths. Killing a fox is wrong if we get some form of pleasure from the hunt. All these animals die to satisfy one or other human desire.
Only an a*sehole would condemn a fox hunter while eating a burger, drumstick or sausage roll.

Put down the Sherry sir you've had too much

Don't see us winning the league going by tonight's display. Poor enough again and lack of goals from midfield is going to catch up with us eventually.

Lucky Everton weren't given a pen, have seen them given before. City still favourites for me as I said 4/5 games into the season

Forerunner 265 I have. Find it great - Good for tracking workouts (running and gym). Can download music onto it from Spotify and listen to on runs without your phone.

Need phone on you for it but it has a live track feature where it sends your GPS location to an emergency contact when you are out on a run hike. Good safety feature imo if you're out on hikes and especially for women out on runs

Watched The Smashing Machine last night (The Rocks Oscar bait film) wasn't a fan of it.

Also stuck on Ransom for a rewatch for first time in 10 years or so, forgot how good a film it was. Mel Gibsons acting in that "Give me back my son!" Scene and next 10 minutes is just brilliant cinema.

Arsenal will be the same when they take lead in second half.

Clue there is Villa weren't in the lead at 2 mins

Quote from: jcpen on December 06, 2025, 01:05:05 PMRef giving Arsenal plenty of very soft frees.

Have benefitted from the ref. Calafori and Eze both got soft frees which Villa has a break in from

Quote from: Puckoon on December 03, 2025, 11:01:00 PMSolid today. Nice to start to see the adaptability of some of the players in key positions. Timber was very sold at the back - he is a great footballer. Calafiori could play a Rice role if he had to, although certainly want Rice as well as Gabriel and Saliba back sooner than later.

2026/27 could see Rice as Captain, he has been leading for 2 years now. If Odegard started to fire again that would be a bonus. Merino vital as well.

Fair play to Ben White for his shift.

Good to see Ben White back.. Played every game for 2 years carrying injuries/Niggles so will never say a bad word against him.

Saturday could see Saliba back in then Timber, Saliba, Hincapie, Calafori as the back 4. 2 games in 3 days might be too much for white so soon. But have him and Lewis Skelly on the bench to jig the defence if needed.

Would start Merino in midfield if Rice is going to be out then Gyokeres, Eze and Madueke as the front 3 - Not much pace in that villa defence so need runners.

Anyone used Runna? Hear mixed opinions on it, anyone new to running seems to rate it but anyone in running clubs or experienced runners I've spoke to seem to think it's a rubbish.

Was tempted to use it for next marathon but £16 per month or £100 for the year seems a bit steep

Nearly everyone I know who entered the ballot didn't get in including myself.

Nope didn't get in, all I seen on social media the last couple days is rejections and maybe 1 or 2 successful.
