Quote from: An Watcher on Today at 03:34:48 PMMckernan has been impressive but he is prone to the odd silly moment as well such as taking that shot on v donegal while in the corner.  Cut those out and we've a top class performer

Yeah he does sometimes take too much out of the ball. I seen Dooher tear a few strips off him at various times in that Donegal match.

I'd be surprised if McBrearty started for Donegal. I have been very impressed with Mogan so maybe Daly will get that job. Hampsey to go on Gallen, O'Donnell to track McHugh and the 2 x O'Donnells will need watched. Niall Devlin will probably take one of them. McKernan is key to us going forward he has been seriously impressive this year.

I'd be surprised too but he did last until the last 3 minutes of extra time of the semi final v Donegal despite doing very little.

Not sure if R Canavan will start maybe Oguz or Harte will come in for him.

Leaking that your sacking your manager 24 hours before a cup final is a maybe a good omen. Didn't Van Gaal win the cup a few years ago knowing he was getting the P45?

Quote from: twohands!!! on Today at 08:21:41 AMThings getting somewhat desperate by the sounds of it.

I would be gobsmacked if there is any meaningful response to the letter from Rishi and friends.

There's only one place that letter has ended up in and thats the bin. Its not a problem for the Tories any more. They'll be leaving that for Labour to sort in 6 weeks time amongst other things.

Quote from: Truthsayer on May 23, 2024, 10:10:44 PMSeems a sound lad too. Seen him finish on three treble tops recently (maybe was old footage, was outrageous!)
Boy wonder Josh Rock kind of slid off the heights...

The 3 x double tops to finish the 120 was last week. Never seen anyone do that before.

The others are having to raise their game to even compete with him never mind beat him at the minute.

This kid is unreal. He'll go on to be the best player ever by time he's finished.

Yeah you would imagine there will be some kind of script he has to follow. Saying online that he is getting $20m. If he does lose the head there'll probably be all sorts of clauses about how much is deducted off that.

14oz gloves for this contest which is obviously been done for Jake Pauls protection. In saying that you still wouldn't fancy being on the end of a punch from Tyson no matter the size of gloves.

So after all the fuss last week Donaghmore will now need to be included in the starred fixtures?

Surely McAneney's call up won't require there to be starred fixtures in Division 3 now?

Quote from: The Trap on May 22, 2024, 03:13:22 PMSquare Ball not only do you never hear of anyone you know winning but you never hear or see who wins at all.
Months and months of build up to a draw and then when the draw happens......nothing.
It's a bit like the clubs who post about all their games but only put up results when they win lol

Ah now they all have legit winners just wondering if anyone had any luck over the years on the board.

Quote from: square_ball on May 22, 2024, 01:32:57 PMEngland have a very good chance. Their defence isn't as bad as its made out albeit they seem to have no natural left back. Their front 4 of Foden/Kane/Bellingham/Saka is as good as what is at the tournament.

Looking forward to it. I've always favoured the Euros over the World Cup for some reason.
Me the same, but the increase in teams and reduced jeopardy in group stages has lessened the appeal.  16 teams 4 groups of 4 should been left like that top two into last 8.

Yeah that is true only 8 of the 24 going out after the group stages does dilute it alright. Next World Cup has 48 teams at it. That is overkill imo.

Quote from: general on May 22, 2024, 09:23:44 AMEdendork appeared in Lissummon last night! Stung!

Did they not have a draw for giving a house away not that long ago??!!

The draw for the house was a long time ago. 15+ years I'd say. They did get in bother with gambling commission laws last year for a caravan draw but that was all cleared up.

Heres another question - has anyone on the board won anything on these draws? I've bought my share of tickets and never had a sniff of a prize.
