United should take a look at that Napoli striker. He looks a good one.

They were joint third favourites with Dungannon on BoyleSports from memory - was the number 8/1 roughly? Bookies well aware they are the up and coming team

Yeah they were 8 or 9/1. Correct - anyone with a set of eyes and any knowledge of football knew they were in with a decent shout of getting at least this far this year.

McBennett has some cheek coming out with that crap. There's so little coverage given to GAA from one week to the next on RTE you wouldn't even know the championship was on so it wouldn't matter when it was on to them.

Also world cup final is likely to be on at 8pm or thereabouts. That'll be a great day of sport to look forward to.

What are those timings all about there? First game will be over by 4. County board get a lot right in terms of organising the championships but that's ridiculous.

The way it was going if Lowry hadn't get that half point to get to 14 there wasn't a hope in hell those last 3 Europe lads were going to do enough to get Europe across the line.

Quote from: Jimbop on September 21, 2025, 02:55:32 PMNot sure you can judge the junior champ so far. Issue is those 4 teams in semis have won without really getting out of 1st gear. They're all fairly evenly matched now and I'd expect to see a lot more quality from here on
Top 4 have that wee bit more of extra quality than the rest.

Still think any of the top 4 come up will go straight back down, the gap between junior and intermediate seems to be getting bigger

Yet the 3 teams that got promoted last season stayed up 2 of them very comfortably. The overall standard in division 2 isn't great judging by some of the performances so far in the championship. Maybe 4 decent sides the rest much of a muchness.

Quote from: WT4E on September 21, 2025, 12:44:15 PMIs there anywhere to get match programmes for this weekend matches or the previous matches.

They use to post them on tyronegaa?

No none posted online this year and it's a random one or two that are put on twitter. Usually county board are very good at this kind of thing but been disappointing this year.

Penalty sums up McShane in the 2nd half. Horrendous half of football. If it was anyone else they'd have been hooked long ago.

Quote from: YO! on September 19, 2025, 07:39:43 PMCookstown haven't been that impressive.

They've been poor since around the 15th minute.

Augher might just keep it under the 20 points  ;D

The ref could blow the final whistle already in this Cookstown match 10 minutes in. Augher be lucky to keep this under 20.

That Liverpool line up last night was pretty frightening. Once Isak and Wirtz get up to speed I can't see any one living with them in the league or in Europe. Nothing lucky about scoring late either. They are relentless and teams level with them heading into the last 10 minutes will be on edge. Only thing that will stop them is an injury to VVD imo.

Local Expert now follows their Ladies team instead. He's very disappointed they were beat in the semi final at the weekend.

I'd be surprised if the Fianna didn't end up getting promoted. Clonoe or Eglish will win the championship leaving them having to beat the Moy and then one of Pomeroy or Gortin to get promoted in the play offs. They showed enough v Eglish to suggest they should get the better of any of those teams.

Coalisland don't get many games. I think it's a great venue for matches.
