Does the Newbridge 12 Mcateer not be mentioned for the Derry squad? He was excellent any time I've watched them this year.

A good way to finish a good game imo.

Quote from: trileacman on November 30, 2025, 05:09:16 PMHow are people still buying the Paqueta excuses. He's been deliberately getting carded for years. He must think because  the last investigation, wrongly, fell through that he's beyond suspicion.

Do yourselves a favour lads and look up the yellow cards that this guy has been investigated for. He's quite clearly orchestrating these cards for someone's financial benefit.

100% right. How he got away with the previous charges I do not know. I'd seen some of the previous yellows around the time the news broke few years ago and they couldn't have been more blatant if he tried.

Thought the same. Unwritten rule is the defending team get away with that in injury time.

Thomas Frank the latest victim of the Spursy effect. Decent manager but doomed to failure.

Riders On The Storm during the cracker pulling session is a good moment.

St Stephens Day for a re-run of the Derrytresk v Dromid match?

Irish News reporting Darragh Canavan will miss the first few rounds of the league due to ankle surgery. Maybe a good chance for the wee bro to get a run in the starting team.

Quote from: Look-Up! on November 25, 2025, 10:41:50 AMGood to see Moyes turning the tide a bit at Everton. Quiet unassuming but very steady manager proving that you can sometimes go back. Drama never far away in PL of course but him and Everton seem a good fit.

Yeah Moyes has Everton going well. If they had a decent striker like a Lakaku when he was with them then they would be challenging for Europe. But over half the league are crying out for a decent striker. The one position that the quality seems to be diminishing year on year. Don't make em like they used to.

There are good young players coming through but they will be replacing that older cohort of players as they come to the end of the line. The standard is very high now across the top 32 but none are on the level of Littler. The only person that will beat Littler will be himself getting distracted from things outside of darts.

Feel free to quote us all this time 6 weeks when Humphries or Price win the world championships ;D

Quote from: Truthsayer on November 23, 2025, 10:33:42 PMIt's getting boring. No-one can touch Littler. Hard to see anyone beat him in the World Championship.

That's gonna be the problem now. He is that good no one is close to his level not even Humphries. I love watching him but it will be a bit of a problem for World Darts/Matchroom if he continues to blow everyone away with no competition over the next year or two.

From a rough look at things Clonoe have won 11 out of their last 36 games at senior level in Tyrone. And not even Clonoe people would argue they were the 2nd best team in the Tyrone championship last year. I know people are on the wind up and/or defending the way their county do things but let's not lose the run of ourselves lads.

Seeding based on those player championship events. The likes of Littler and Humphries barely played any of them so that's why they're not seeded.
