Spurs to finish 17th and win a European trophy again this year?

I wouldn't totally rule out Liverpool going on a run. I think they'll be tough enough to beat over 2 legs in the knockout stages. Hard to call at this stage there's no real outstanding teams knocking about.

You'll have to add Cookstown 3rds to the managers list.

On a separate topic, can Cookstown 1st team draw Cookstown 3rds in the junior championship in 2027?

Just when it looked all over for Thomas Frank at Spurs, he's managed to pull a performer out of the bag in the first half.

Quote from: Brendan on January 19, 2026, 09:30:19 PMCallum Brown played for his club in the intermeidate championship in Derry and done nothing for note so doesn't always work out when a professional comes back to the club

Conor McKenna played for Eglish in the Tyrone intermediate final in 2025 and lost.

I get availability is an issue but surely a semi final deserves better than a training pitch at Fintona?

The craziest end to a football I think I have ever seen. Mental. Absolutely mental.

He was going for the flag initially too.

Quote from: tiempo on January 16, 2026, 05:17:37 PMIn things that'll never happen, it would be nice to see McKernans directness given a go at 11

I can see where you're coming from but players like that are often better coming from a deeper position. I remember Armagh tried it with Aaron Kernan and it never really worked albeit they are slightly different players.

McKernan was our best player by a distance last season. His injury was a disaster for us.

Injury updates from Peter Canavan in the Irish News today. Darragh not fit for the first few games of the year and Niall Devlin and Ruairi out for 6 weeks with hamstring injuries.

Quote from: RedHand88 on January 15, 2026, 09:15:21 AMFor the second night in a row Rachel bats away a crazy cat lady.

Harriet was out of order at breakfast, made me want the traitors to win. I was expecting a big flourishing dossier of evidence at the roundtable but it was nothing beyond "I have a gut feeling". If an opposition barrister came at Harriets client with that in cross examination in court she'd have to them to shreds. Rachel needn't have worried. Her random targeting of jade may look a bit weird though.

Edit: just saw someone else made the exact same point!

If Harriet had any sense, she would have played the long game with Rachel if she was so convinced she was a traitor.

Both her and Fiona just lost the plot completely.

And also maybe its just me but I kind of want the traitors to win and have done in all the series that I have watched. Though I don't think Rachel is particularly likeable either really.

Quote from: Tribesmen on January 11, 2026, 02:01:47 PMYes Bogue looks a handy player. Is he on the county panel?

I think he may have got a call up for this season. He was centre forward on the u20 team that the all Ireland in 2021.
'22 final wasn't it against Kildare? Really good player but probably have an overload of players in the forward position all around the same ability at the moment

You're right it was the 2022 team with Ruairi Canavan. I can't see him making much impact at senior county level but he is a really good player.

I wouldn't mind seeing McCurry in an impact sub type of role. I think he could do some serious damage coming on with 20 minutes to go.
