Quote from: cjx on Today at 09:13:30 PMAt least McCullagh got 5 min at rhe end. Messy but good win v Kildare 2-12 0-13 McDermott goal special in 1st half.

It wasn't looking great in the first 10/15 minutes of the 2nd half but they always looked like the better team. Not sure it's a vintage u20s side but they've done very well to get to an AI final after the group stages of the Ulster championship.

Agreed also on the Tyrone social media. Barely a mention of it.

Quote from: TyroneTam on Today at 07:49:12 PMKildare brutally slow in attack, at this rate they'll have completely blown the advantage of playing with a huge wind.

On a separate note this is a pathetic crowd for an all Ireland semi final. Why could this not have been played at the weekend?

I'd imagine they have to get it finished by the start of the AI series. Not sure why Leinster couldn't get theirs finished up at the same time as the other 3 otherwise the semis would have been last weekend and the final this weekend.

Quote from: tyroneStatto on May 10, 2026, 09:50:47 PMThink we'll ambush them in 2 weeks.

Similar vibes to Donegal last year. A last gasp defeat to Armagh, 2 weeks after the team they're facing won their provincial championship, going into their home patch. Tyrone by 3.

I'd be very concerned about Warldleys health after that. Took an absolute beating for at least 4 rounds.

Quote from: BennyHarp on May 09, 2026, 11:35:43 PMThis Wardley v Dubois fight is unbelievable

Nuts absolutely nuts. I've never seen anything like it. Wardleys corner doing him no favours here.

Quote from: rodney trotter on May 07, 2026, 10:47:08 PMThere seems to be lots of tension at Real Madrid. Rudiger losing the plot on the training ground, and then today Valderde was knocked out by Tchouaméni.

Rudiger is a header

Bit mad alright. Throw in Mbappe on a cruise with his girfriend into the mix also and surely Barca are favourites to beat them at the week-end.

And also a potential return of Jose into the frying pan. The whole thing could get a lot more crazy next season.

Arsenal have come up against 3 teams in the knockouts that any decent Premier League team would beat. If Liverpool had got that draw you'd have fancied them to make a final despite their mixed form all season. It was the dream draw for them. Arsenal are a very good side and they have a decent chance in the final based on the way they set up. An early goal for PSG would be the nightmare scenario for them.

Division 3 started last year and Cookstown and Glenelly had to play catch up with a few mid week fixtures thrown in. It has happened previously with Drumragh as well.

wise up.
Exactly, Clones will be sold out on final day and hopefully a competitive final that has the crowd on tenterhooks.  But hypothetically, if Brannigan was given a choice of beating either Mayo or Armagh, who would he choose?
Armagh. Not even close.

Yeah Armagh every day of the week and twice on a Sunday.

I can't imagine Bannigan telling the grandchildren in 40 years time about the day he captained Monaghan to beat Mayo in a competition they aren't going to win. Now telling them about the day he walked up the steps in Clones to lift an Ulster title after beating Armagh. . .

And also to add into the mix weren't squad players released to play league games last season? So Killyclogher have 2 county players who could be released to play against a team with county players who aren't released to play.

Great final frame from Wu. The Chinese are here to take over.

That was some yellow. Murphy with it all to do now.

Yeah I think Murphy just seems to have things under control a bit better. All comes down to a best of 3. Been a good final.
