Neville has to be the biggest weirdo in football.

As weird as Liverpool fans booing Guehi.
That's your second post about it, don't be worrying about it, it's not that big of deal as you're making it out to be.

Weird behaviour.

Agreed. Got it wrong about him last year. He's prone to a mistake or 2 a game but who isn't especially at that age.

Shame about McGeary too. Thought he could've been on the U20s last year but it is what it is I suppose

What's the story with McGeary? Heard them mention on commentary about Armagh but I'm nearly sure he's played Tyrone minors.

You'd think Thomas Niblock was an ex-Abbey man.

Quote from: markl121 on February 08, 2026, 11:03:57 AMMadness from Lindsay Vonn to attempt that. Bad bad crash
It has ruined the session for the people coming behind. What was the point of trying to ski on a fucked ACL other than to show the world you're a strong woman. Hubris.

I'm no ski expert but skiing on one knee is surely not ideal.

Think Liverpool will beat City today fairly comfortably today and that'll be that for Arsenal.

Quote from: Blowitupref on February 07, 2026, 07:31:49 PMKeith Andrews a strong contender for manager of the year?

Another good win this evening away to Newcastle moving Brentford onto 39 points which is pretty impressive considering all the top players they lost in the summer and were among the favourites to be relegated.

Next Spurs manager ;)

If you know, you know.

The guy they first tested that on was a brave man.

Quote from: SouthOfThe Bann on February 04, 2026, 07:20:37 PMIs his coaching page taken down from Instagram?

I wouldn't be surprised if the GAA got it taken down due to copyright issues. I know over the last few years a few accounts were taken down by social media companies as they were using GAA clips for coaching videos etc.

Noticeable how Lachlan Murray has developed in terms of size and power since he first broke onto the Derry squad compared to now.

Quote from: Tony Baloney on February 04, 2026, 02:54:48 PMThat's sad to hear about John Virgo. Despite any limitations he had as a player, he was a great in the commentary box. Another generational voice gone.

Who will  be considered the voice of snooker now JV is gone?
In my time we've gone through Whispering Ted Lowe, Clive Everton and now JV. I couldn't abide Hendry when he was a player but I like him as a commentator and a contributor.

I don't really watch much snooker these days to comment on Hendry ,but would  Dennis  not be   the  main commentator now?

Dennis would still be there but doesn't commentate on as many matches as he used to. With that lovely Coalisland twang they really should be giving him every match.

Quote from: Armagh18 on February 04, 2026, 03:30:11 PMIf Luke Shaw was to keep fit and playing would he be in with a shout? Decent enough season without being brilliant and I know most of it was at left centre back so far but he's been good enough under Carrick, gave little or nothing away against Arsenal and City

Shaw has a habit of finding a bit of form and fitness in Euros/World Cup seasons.

One of the voices of snooker alongside the likes of Clive Everton and Ted Lowe.

It must have been sudden enough as he was commentating on the BBC 2 weeks ago.

RIP JV
