Quote from: HonDerry on February 07, 2026, 02:04:47 PM"You should stick to slagging off Derry hurling because you haven't a clue about Derry football if you think Tohill could be useful for anything. A man that can't make a Swatragh team couldn't be useful for anything!"

That's a disgraceful comment. Completely unnecessary. I  watched Anton in the Queens games on the stream and he was very good  I don't think he is at the level that most what to see for our county midfield but he is definitely at the level of some of our fringe panel players.

If Swatragh can't make something of him that says more about them than Anton. From what I hear about him he is liked by his team mates.

I always wonder if the people who post  horrible comments would be fit to say the same things to the individuals face. Safer to hide behind a screen.

On a positive note Conal Higgins showed up very well night taking on players and scoring 4 points. He probably is better inside but with his height he provides another kickout option in half forward

I'm fairness , it would be hard not to like the big fella, as civil as they come

For what it's worth, I'd have him in the squad

(Welcome to the board Big Tohill)

Not locking the car. I mean, how hard is it to push the button on the keys!
Having to run to the ditch for a pee just as the warmup starts.

I sent a pic of this very thing to a buddy recently saying the dishwasher was 2 feet away! We do some lamenting about thisn2hen out cycling

Worse again is when the sink is filled with warm soapy water and a bowl goes in with milk in it left over from cereal... that's a jailable offence

Massive. Tough result for Cavan but credit Meath with that response.

Tough surely, but when McKernan popped over the handiest of points when a player was out to his right bearing down on goal,I wondered should they not have went for the jugular and would it come back to bite them (alot of football played after that of course)

Quote from: JPO on January 29, 2026, 07:26:45 PMMeath should get promoted. Let's hope for footballs sake that they do. Watching Conor Glass repeatedly jogging a few yards sideways then handpassing to a teammate during the Meath game only highlighted how pointless the Derry style of play is. What was the point of Glass being on the field at all?

*Bump*
