Quote from: Ryan O on Today at 05:18:42 PMIf Glenullin were from any other county they wouldn't be in Intermediate football its no real surprise they are winning it. They've won 3 out of the last four, realistically they are a senior team playing in a level below what they should be at.

Yes it brings success and good luck to them but it does diminish the competition for actual Intermediate teams in Ulster. I believe they opted to enter Intermediate level?
Whats to stop other clubs on bottom half of senior league just entering it and trying to steam roll some success. Have Glenullin or Ballinderry or Faughanvale improved the most this year, only time will tell.

Not too many not at it, Tyrone maybe? Down?

Glenullin beat a team who finished 4th in Div 1

The Munster junior winners are a Kerry Div 1 side etc etc

Outside of Div 1,can't see how you would level the playing field

Quote from: JoG2 on December 07, 2025, 02:27:59 PMEnjoyable match in poor conditions.. Glenullin excellent in patches in the 2nd half, serious pace.

Alan and Paddy great re commentary, but that camera work, must have the L plates on. But I watched it on the firestick so can't humble too much 😬

Is Alan a Derry man?

Paddy Sheanon always good on commentary in local Cavan matches.

Monaghan.

Scotstown?

Thought he sounded more Monaghan than Derry alright.

But there's a Derry lad that does a podcast with Mal McMullan and he doesn't have that strong Derry accent either thought it was him

Same guy, Alan Gunn

Not really. But when the goys bang on about how they are best on the world, schadenfreud does enter the conversation when the inevitible happens

So you're shaping your thoughts on our national rugby team on what a few people you don't know say... Got it, mature thinking
Basically, yes. If the rugby media insist on hyping them to that level, hard not to chuckle when they inevitably fall short.

Quote from: laoislad on December 07, 2025, 11:25:39 AMThis is shocking, really shocking.
I never thought it could be possible.

I really can't believe people still drink Harp..

😂.. In my defence, long story short, big cycle in the May sunshine this year, called into a Donegal pub, didn't fancy stout, had a Harp and it was glorious. Have had a few since, none will come close to that May pint though

Quote from: Minus15 on December 06, 2025, 11:26:33 PMSlot lost the dressing room. Time for a change

He hasn't and it's definitely not time for a change. 1 player doesn't = a dressing room (add in the car crash Konate and players bedding in) . It'll come good. Revisit this post in May '26 (😁)

Salah has to go, last two paragraphs of his statement were beyond embarrassing, no way back imo

Sounds like I care, I don't really, I've had 4 Harp

More money than self awareness.. A big deal doesn't mean you can't be dropped if not putting in a shift

Konate would struggle to get a start in our amateur league atm
