Mayo / Re: Mayo Club Football.

Conor and Trevor did not play as registration not fully complete. Should be available for the replay. Could do with them. Whilst 2 Ronaldsons did well the smaller lighter forwards could not make any progress against a physically strong Westport side. Roundy had to move out to midfield in the second half. Shrule Glenc were well beaten in midfield in the first half. Keegan and Keane are two tanks of men. Keegan has massive pace. Shrule Glenc backs improved immensely in the second half. Dont think Westport scored from play in second half. Great game with a massive crowd. Half of South Mayo were there. I seen people from Ballinrobe, Holly, The Neale, Kilmaine, Clonbur and Tourmakeady.

More bullshit. People talk about mindfullness and being able to talk. When a young man has one tweet in gods knows how long about one of the most traumatic events in his life and he gets this bullshit from an old fella who still thinks he is one of the lads. This guy helps kids with CF and then he comes out with this about a guy who has just expressed his deepest emotions. He needs to think more about what he writes and the effect of it. Claiming free press just shows he is not really a GAA man just another greedy hack.

Sorry but Tyrone lost because they missed easy scoreable chances. To be honest Mayo were only good up to a point. A lot of problems with our lads still and they should not underestimate Tipp.

Lad sour grapes. All beaten teams engage in it including ourselves when Kerry beat us in Limerick. A bit embarrassing really! Cop on lads. All teams sledge. All teams provoke. Just stop complaining about it when it happens against you. Expected more of Tyrone manager and Sean C. Tyrone fans I met after the game agreed that Mayo were the best team and wished us well. Mickey H and Sean C are just trying to promote a siege mentality - tactics really.

Dermot Earley being chaired off the pitch after the 1985 Connacht Final by the Mayo players. True respect for a great of the game.

I feel with Galway that the only thing they lack is belief. The amount of players that don't make themselves available is unreal. I do believe the talent is there. It will take a strong personality with a 3 year plan which would include Horan style discipline and would include strength and conditioning, outside coaches including tackling coaching and huge support from the county board. Best of luck but not too much!!

GAA Discussion / Re: London v Mayo 29th May

Lads the GAA agreed that New York and London could take the gate. The money does not go to the Connacht Council or Croke Park. It is retained at a local level and fair play to them. They need all the help they can get to promote the game. This whingeing is typical. We hear the same thing when an All Ireland Final is on. All of a sudden everyone wants a ticket and the 'I am more entitled than you' brigade comes out. There are limited tickets someone loses out. If you are not on the ball when they are put on sale - tough. Man up and take it. Stop crying. Same rubbish when it comes to refs, venues, prices, etc. We are getting more and more soccer like! - that is not a compliment.

Any fall out from the Moy Davitts Kiltimagh quarter final. I hear that there was trouble after the match. Were players charged?

Decent division with some very good teams. IMO Armagh will win it out.

As a passionate Mayo supporter I would like to say I dont give a XXXX what they wear once they continue to represent their county in the brave manner that they have done so in the last few years.
