cilliseal arent great value at 6-4 either missing 5 of their best players im hearing.

Are those the lads who were in the US nbtb? They're back now I believe.

Three players flew back to NY today, manager told them he didnt want them anymore.

Im surprised the club let an outside manager tell the players this, considering they have & will offer the club more than he has/will!! The lads are 22 & 25, plenty of football left in them yet!

they'll probably have to finish the championship first before having any playoffs. from what i saw of killeeshil yesterday they wont be far away when it comes to the championship.

Wont be helped by the fact that 3 players are flying back to NY on Wednesday to play for Tyrone NY in their championship match rather than play for Killeeshil against Gortin on Saturday!!

And if tyrone NY get beat, just one of them is coming back home to go to uni in Liverpool!

wtf were they doing in stewartstown yesterday then? ???

Im not sure what way the NY transfers work. Johnny Murtagh from crossmaglen was also home for the cross match on saturday and came on as a sub and is also flying back to NY on Wednesday.

The better team won on the day, Tyrone were totally outplayed. The Ref didnt do either team any favours

The Tyrone weaknesses from the Kildare game came back again, mainly our two wing half backs being exposed for pace and defensive duties & likewise for PJ Quinn.

Both Jordan & Harte were a mile of the pace, dont know why Sean O Neill wasnt introduced earlier, showed his pace when he came on and was up for the challenge. I can see him claiming the Nr 5 or 7 Jersey next year.

If the next round is starred then i would expect greencastle to beat clan na gael and cookstown to beat killeeshil.

If so, the only game greencastle can really slip up in is away to strabane whereas cookstown have struggled at home this year and could get caught by gortin or derrylaughan. However at this stage i'm gonna say Cookstown will just about win the league (a draw against strabane costing greencastle)

Even if greencastle finish second in the league there's still a good chance they'll go up into Division 1 as cookstown would then be favourites to do the double.

Does anybody know when Killeeshil get their players back from america?.

Them boys have no notion of going home!!!
In fairness they would be some addition back with their club, they are playing great stuff over here!

I heard yesterday that they came home last week but the killeeshil committee decided they couldnt play against derrylaughan due to the bad taste that had been left. are they home or not? personally i think if they were home they would have been playing against derrylaughan no matter what as they badly need points.

They are not home yet, but are coming home soon, as tyrone NY have more or less qualified for the knock out stages, but are going back out, something to do with timescale of transfer etc.

I dont know why people are making a big fuss over two players (P McMullan & G Reilly), the other players that went were reserve players. Sounds like people like to use players going to the states for the summer as an excuse for a poor set-up! Its not their fault that 8/9 players turn up for training at home, how many managers is that now they have gone through in a short space of time!!

Good lad! Great debating skills displayed by yourself! Do they not accept your text message language on hoganstand anymore?

Scooby is a reserve player cub! They will be home for the championship alright, as long as tyrone dont get beat on Sunday!

there is only one game left which the county lads can play in

The league is nothing but a farce-there i said it!

not really a true reflection of the teams then when dromore, errigal, moy, ardboe are at half strength.

Full strength league table;
1.C.More
2.Ardboe
3.Errigal
4.Dromore/Omagh
6.Moy
7.Clonoe
8.Trillick
9.Donaghmore
10.Killyclogher
11.Coalisland
12.Galbally
13.Aghyaran
14.Loughmacrory
15.Kildress
16.Eglish

Considering Galbally beat Coalisland, Dromore and Moy with their full contingent of county men, your argument isnt totally justified!

i assume there are no more starred ganes after this weekend?

There is another round of league games on 6th Sept apparently

If this is the case, we would have just the 1 league game left after

Galbally beat Moy by 6 points with Colm Cavanagh receiving a straight red card for striking.

A good win for the pearses tonight against a Dromore side with five county men playing! There was a penalty saved by the keeper with about 10 mins to go. Its good to get off the mark after a disappointing defeat to the village last week. Dromore are going to miss McCusker up front this year. Bring on Errigal!!
