Evan Regan broke the collar bone again last night in training.

It's awful on the young lad. He is really unlucky. Mayo could do with a free scoring forward this year of all years. All we can do is wish him well. Will he be back again I wonder? Especially 2 breaks in a few months.

From what ive heard he wont be in the reckoning at all this year.He was on the receiving end of a shoulder and thats what broke it again. You have to feel sorry for him he worked hard to get back and now this happens. Its a disaster for Mayo

Here's the full statement from Mayo Gaa about the injury Evan Regan sustainedhttp://www.mayogaa.com/news/358189/Statement_Re_Evan_Regan .
Very unfortunate for the lad to break his collarbone again. I was only chatting to him when he appeared at the Darkness Into Light Ballina launch for our committee & he said he was fully recovered & looking forward to the championship.
Unfortunately we won't get to see him tog out for Mayo Gaa during the Summer. All we can do now is wish him the best of luck & here's hoping he'll recover without any complications.

My answer is yes because who am I to say who can or can't marry. There should only be two people involved in that decision..A couple who are in a same sex relationship is as loving, as spiritually nourishing, socially important, human and valid as a happy marriage between men and women. If a same sex couple were to marry they are not going to change the way you love your life, but instead make a recognised loving commitment to each other that should never be denied of two people in love, regardless of sexuality. If two consenting adults love each other & want a deeper commitment before their friends and family, this should be allowed.Love is love.

Michelle was fantastic in doing such a difficult interview, she was very  brave and courageous. For us ladies she raised much needed awareness.
Well done to Ryan,he just grew as a broadcaster right there in front of our eyes. He managed a very difficult situation with gentleness & empathy. Good luck to Michelle for her future.

+1. Powerful stuff. I thought Tubbs did a good job...she's a brave girl...good luck to her.
Cheers for the reply:)She certainly is a very brave and courageous girl,a very difficuly interview for her but she did very well.In my view,Tubridy surpassed himself with the very sensitive nature of the interview:)Hopefully everything will go well for Michelle in the next few months:)

Mayo / Re: Mayo Club Football.

Kilcoyne had a good game, you hit the nail on the head with that comment. He has played well for Knockmore in there last few games.Well for the last few months since he started really improving his performance,I'm now wondering myself how long it will take for Horan to make the decision to include him in the County panel? He can't ignore the fact he is playing well for Knockmore, can he?In my opinion I think he should be given a chance to play for Mayo again because he has certainly proved himself worthy of a place on the team.We will just have to wait and see what Horan does ???

What is her plight?
She has elected to get preventative surgery prior to help prevent getting breast and/or ovarian cancer.

Just a heads up for all yee season ticket holders, Croke Park have sent out e-mails this morning, make sure to check yours. They are allocating 305/306 to season ticket holders to people that have reached 60% attendance. Make sure your card is UP TO DATE as they will be charging your account in the next few days, and will then post out hard copy tickets. Starting to get excited now:D great feeling not having to go round begging for tickets:cool:

Say you join Cairde Mhaigh Eo, and you don't get to go to 60% of games due to events that crop us, what happens? Do you automatically qualify for All-Ireland tickets or what's the story?
This is how Cairde Mhaigh Eo works:
This ticket is mainly focussed at patrons who
regularly attend Club & County matches who wish to
financially support Mayo GAA.
• It Costs €200/unit annually which includes your Season Ticket for all Mayo National League
matches, 1st Round of Connacht Senior Championship
Matches, All Club League & Championship (Senior,Intermediate, Junior and Underage) Matches in Mayo.
• Your  membership card will be issued to patrons which
allows free entry to Club & National League matches.
• You have the option to buy tickets for subsequent inter-county
championship matches involving Mayo at a €5 discount & tickets for Qualifiers are available at face value only.
• Option to purchase a Ticket for an All-Ireland Final if Mayo is a
competing County in the Senior Final.
Now here is the nitty gritty of how to pay for the all in one season ticket:
Direct Debit:
Payable by 12-montly (€17/month) 6-monthly (€100
in February & August) or annual (€200 which must be paid by the 4th February 2013You can pay by:Credit Card, Cheque or Cash.Hope this helps :)

From my perspective as someone who works with people who have varying disabilities,I love the Paralympics. We are celebrating the beauty of humanity and diversity which was displayed throughout the Opening Ceremony which was fantastic especially at the end with the song "I am what I am" which just summed up the ethos of the Paralympics. This will be filled with excellence throughout especially from Team Ireland:)

I really hope James Horan and the players aren't taking any notice of some of the negative attitudes displayed on this thread!Hopefully the team have more sense than to be reading some of this stuff! It sn't negativity they need leading up to the game, they need all the backing from the Mayo supporters!
With regards to the Referee, the match hasn't been played yet so there is no point in complaining about decisions which may not be made at all!
With regards to the media Mayo have finally received the respect they deserve!
