Just after watching the game ....
The moment in the game that sticks out in my mind the most is Noel O'Learys complete scumback act of trying to lift Donal Vaughan up of the ground - should have got a straight red. Another one was Michael Shields throwing the ball on Andy Moran as he lay on the ground injured ..... not near as bad as O'Learys but just shouldn't happen and should be a red too imho.
Hope the referees committees or whatever clamp down on this..... ditto the diving (Donal Vaughan, for a man as hard as steel you looked a fool for taking a dive)

Update: 'snap' Benny !

Well said. Similarly, the GAA needs to make diving and feigning injury - ala Dillon, Vaughan and Moran yesterday - at the very least an automatic yellow card. If these things are not picked up on during the game the GAA should punish divers like Vaughan and co after the match. Not only do these players massively damage the reputation of Gaelic Football and damage the sport as a spectacle, they also invite negative and physical actions to players going down with actual injuries, particularly if that player, like Vaughan, has a reputation for diving and plays on a team that has a reputation for diving.

QuoteExpect we will win pulling up. 5-7 points. Our h/f line will destroy that Cork h/b line and Cork forwards will struggle to put up any sort of decent score.

QuoteI think he made the right call leaving Andy at CHF, he'll give Canty an awful time.

QuoteIf we could get him right Moran has more quality than O Neill and O Connor put together.

Karma is a motherfucker lads.
