Well done carmen and dromore, as a neutral i think it was totally justifiable what they did. if money was to go to charity, county board should not have changed it.

Now its over so move on. Whats the story with this weekend?? i take it there are no fixtures at all, or will there be starred games on Fri or Sat??

Are the ACL's going to be put back a few weeks due to u21s?? Hearing rumours that they are going to be put back by 2 weeks. this would solve the easter tues problem. If they are put back, will they start with round 3, or just start with round 1 only two weeks later??

We seem to all get carried away about the awful decision by McCarron to send Murphy off that day. we forget that unfortunately Galballys opponents got the lions share of horrible decisions during that game. Had someone else refereed it, maybe we'd be talkin about a different final altogether??? Just saying.

But its great its over and as a neutral glad to see Murphys ban over turned cuz it was a horrible decision. I think Galbally will win the final. I fancied them evern without Murphy but this can only be a boost.

Inthesystem, I wasn't at the Galbally vs. Stewartstown so I can't comment myself on his performance for that game, but no one I have heard about gave him a positive review of his performance. My only point is that no one made any comment about his duties as a referee over the last few years until recently and there's too many gobshites in Tyrone football who give off about officiating all around (not just specific referees themselves) but do f**k all to give a constructive contribution themselves and would shit themselves if asked to do the whistle at an under 10 blitz.

Look I agree with what your saying and that 'without referees there'd be no games' etc etc. I appreciate that. But without managers, without coaches, without players there would be no games. Now when a team gets beat in a game, a player who played poorly gets dropped and chances are the manager and coach get the road for not delivering if its a big game.

Whay punishment does a referee get when he has a terrible game?? Hes out the next week again. Referees have to be accoutnable for their bad performances as well. But as i've said already, the county board are encouraging referees to issue yellows and reds and this really is killing the club game in Tyrone.

McCarron was terrible in that semi final. Why he got a game of that importance is beyond me. However, the county board have to take the blame. Stephen McNamee is one of the best referees in the county but he was told that he aint gettin another championship game this year because he didnt give out enough yellow cards in the Galbally Rock game. This was probably one of the best games played in all the championships.

Ridiculous decision by county board, and I can understand Fintona trying to defend his club mate, but his performance was inexcusable. Gave Stewartstown nothing in the first 45 minutes then tried to even it up by giving them everything in last 15 when they were 9 points down. crazy, and when you have McConnell on the line as well, thats just a recipe for disaster.

Ha ha. Money well spent by Omagh. Crozier and Canavan doing some job hi??? The amount of talent in that club and still no final appearance. well done Omagh committee :D :D. Omagh would have progressed better under John McElholm, but the Omagh committee thought they needed a big name. Yip good decision!!!Omagh club lotto will have to be stepped up now with Crozier's bill due!!!

The standard of refereeing in this county seems to be ridiculous. And McConnell seems to be in the midst of the controversy all the time. But if its a penalty its a penalty, doesnt matter whether its the first minute or the last minute. Now i wasnt at the game so I dont know if it was a pen or not (and chances are we'll never know cuz anyone at the game will have their teams version to tell us) but if it was a pern then it has to be given. He did give Killyman a chance to equalise.

McConnell was one of the linesmen at the Galbally game last week and seemed to always want to get involved and call the referee over all the time. I just hope Micky McCarron quits refereein. hes rubbish. By the way, anyone know how Mickey Murphys appeal went??
