Cavanagh was man of the match in the Ulster Final- or maybe that escaped your attention. Galvin has been excellent for Kerry this season - all season just watch a few videos. By far the best wing forward in the country.
Certianly did not escape my attention, but he was fairly quiet in the two games prior to that, that didn't escape me either.
Lets face it allstars are picked on provincial final form onwards. No-one will remember the first 2 matches.

Sligo were a busted flush before he took over. He's revitilised a team that was heading for the very backwaters of gaelic football along with the London's of this world. Now they are a team with a future.
Either your terribly bad at puns, or you genuinely didn't realise what you were typing.
Sorry must have missed that- can't see any puns in Walsh having revitalised Sligo.

I think if the figure of 25 is true then Real have their first bargain of the summer. Liverpool are supposed to have put a value of 35 million on him and on current market activity that was more like it. I guess the yanks are putting on pressure to get a few dollars in!

I'm not having a go I just cannot see how anyone can be very excited about a transfer of a former player back to the club.Quote from: ONeill on July 30, 2009, 04:38:11 PM
Great thread Sidelinekick. This is an area I've been mulling over this past 3-4 weeks. I was obsessional towards Arsenal from 83-06. Since the birth of my children I don't panic anymore if I miss a game but it still dictated my moods at the best and worst of times. This summer though hasn't stirred the same passion about the new season. I hated reading stories about players wanting away, toying with the media, wage demands, clubs riding massive debts, ticket prices etc.
Someone on here wrote a year ago that the money element put them off for good. I can see myself heading that direction soon. I hope not.
Surely Viera being 8/11 to return will get those Tyrone juices inside you flowing again?
I wish I actually did understand.

Fair enough.
I genuinely hope Liverpool do well this year. Why? Because my friend Corn02 supports them and if he's happy then I'm happy. Of course if he's sad then I'm also happy.
Indeed, ironcially many a night we spent bonding and puking in the great city of Liverpool.
I certainly support Liverpool as a city. I will never forget the puking antics of our pilot friend on the way back to the airport. Priceless. To think he's now flying for easyjet. Probably.
