maginn and hughes are our best break ball winners and neither were there yesterday. i dont agree with humping ball down the middle all the time and believe me neither does brendy.he has tried several diff tactics and is always looking for the short one . you only have to contrast his club kickouts . btw not one short kick out galway v mayo in 1st half. no high fielding either. just hard work on the breaks.

if you went to all downs games you wud have seen a variation in the kickouts thru the league. when our midfield was breaking even last year this wasent a problem and only became one when we lost ambrose. i know a lot of work has gone into kickouts at down training but if outfield players are not looking for the ball the only alternative is long and fight for the breaks. blaming the goalkeeper is certainly way off the mark and your remark about cluxton shud be retracted. there was enough talk about message board abuse lately.

no cover up or illegal player. this matter arose in 2009 when faurlin signed for the r,s. the third party rules came into place after his signing. the problems relate to the transfer fee and some minor clerical errors. there is a small possibility that the case might not proceed as it has been comprimised by the article in the sun paper. i,m totally confident that QPR are up!
all the so called experts and begrudgers have all gone very quiet. no points deduction and 5 charges threw out and the super hoops up as champions. the media hyped up the case to no end and led people to believe this was like the tevez case, whichit wasent. the likes of the sun journo and ex fa man palios talking rubbish.

good to see ambrose back on the pitch last night. he got about 15 mins and was on the ball a couple of times. obviously a bit nervous looking at first. great to see him back!

benny mcardle was having a good game but having been booked would have been a risk on brogan esp with thon ref. he booked wee dan and it wasent even a foul. the wheels came off in injury time with bad decision making leading to their 2 scores. possession should have been kept, a tactic we,re really good at. still in all a good league campaign in div 1

i think calling the u21 management team "donkeys" is way over the top. me thinks you have a personal issue here.

cant really figure out critism of keepers kicking. obviously worked at in training with at least 5 players looking for alternative to long kick. about 8 were played directly to players looking for it. first. at last theres an alternative to the long ball. had these tactics been employed agst cork ....... well you know the answer.

buntings and flags being vandalised all week in kilkeel but being replaced every morning by locals. great community spirit despite vandalism. last night seemed quiet as i seen cops chasing young loyalist hoodies in newry st area. were trying to take flags down from outside Brendys house

extra time was v meath early 90s. i was at that nat lg match v kerry with a good friend Dan Murphy from Doagh near Abbeyfeile. sadly Dan has since passed away r.i.p but he enjoyed the win that day and many more days as he followed kerry to the last. he loved coming up north and getting the craic about football.he would have loved the banter on sat and will be sadly missed.
