I think GAA journalists are struggling a bit for content at the minute.

Breheny is doing up lists.

Kerry:

Expectation (same as every year): Win it all.

Nothing else matters.

The only correct prediction.

Man Utd are very poor because of the Glazers so you would think that the share price would be high, with the club flogging all those jerseys in Asia.
But in fact the share price reached a peak in 2018 and has been falling since then.

I've said it since 2005. The club will never be right with these owners and the only thing that will make them leave is fans boycotting the club. Don't buy merchandise, don't go to the games, lobby sponsors......if done successfully they'll cash in their chips a feck off.....hopefully with a well reduced value of the club.

Your supporters group(s) might want to pick up the phone to somebody from Spirit of Shankly for a few tips as to how to remove some yank stains from your club!

Not sure Liverpool fans would want to help. ;D

Interesting and depressing thread from @delpieri on twitter about the state of the club. No wonder everyone who supports other teams rejoiced when Fergie left. No other manager would have been successful post Glazer takeover for eight years. Could actually be in a relegation battle this season with the players we have. And it's only now I really realise how much trouble Liverpool could have been in if they continued with the previous owners. They managed to sort their shit out and are the only club who actually can give city a run for their money. Hard to be confident about any of the first six matches this season. And we all know how brittle the players are if going gets tough.

It's not even any fun anymore how shit Utd are. They're like a Southampton or Everton a "big club" which challenges for the top 4 every once and a while but never get there... sad

Southampton challenging for a top 4 spot. I know your hatred of everything Utd knows no bounds, but when did Southampton challenge for the top 4?

It's a good job the season isn't a calendar year one. It'd be a right relegation battle if it was.

When the Premier League started, Man Utd had 7 titles.
Liverpool had 18
Chelsea had 1.
Man City had 2

The Premier League is a money racket

Poor Oldham Athletic are in the Conference now. Or whatever it's called.

Farewell AC, we had a few mighty days but this year's Championship poor show meant a parting of the ways was highly likely.
We're not as good a prospect as we were in 2018 so will probably end up with a B grade manager from the merry go round circuit.

More like two days in 2019 when ye beat both Mayo and Galway to win Connacht. I thought Roscommon would push on under him, but seemed to stall and go backwards if anything.

Armagh's County team's Championship ended 25th June.
Their Club Championships not starting till end of August!!!

Mayo's not starting till first weekend in September.
Is it true that ye're adult Club Leagues only started in June???

Yes.

So most of ye're Club only players have a 4 month playing season?

Other divisional competitions and the Michael Walsh (third tier competition) were played in the Spring. August will be the league playoffs.

Given how much the final performance has on all-star selections, has Comer played himself out of one?

No. Comer done ok the second half today although he had to play much deeper than was ideal. The presence of Morley negated his threat but he done enough before today anyway. Comer, Walsh, O'Shea, two Clifford's and one other will be the forwards.

Rian O'Neill.
