Derry breaking through donegal blanket much, much easier.

This is going to be absolutely shite.

Derry win this by 4 imo, Donegal don't do well against packed defences and I don't think Bonnar has the nous to unpick it. I can imagine it being a pretty poor spectacle.

You have to wonder what goes through referee's heads at times...how the hell was that not a black for the foot trip??

Ruairi Canavan is a special, special talent.

Surely the next few rounds of fixtures can come out now that the u20s will be finished on Sunday. Any word on if it'll be the 20th or 27th?

Edit: just seen they're scheduled for the 20th

Fantastic game game, great advertisement for this age grade. Some of the defending in the first half was unreal, the commitment of both teams was admirable.

Final down for next weekend, looking forward to it.

Maybe if every senior club refused to play Greencastle, they review it. On the recording, as brought up in the Donegal v Armagh game, the footage does not have to be official, just not edited. If you filmed on a dash cam without permission, u can still end up in court based on it as the police can review and use it.

Doesn't appear that it was the footage per se, seems to be the fact that a third party raised the objection based on the Greencastle v Kildress game. Got thrown out on a procedural error from the initial complaint.

Sligo v Dublin/Kildale (28th)

Armagh fans got some dose of reality today. Athletic grounds in February was like Croke Park in September when they beat Tyrone such was the celebrations.

McGeeney surely has to go unless Armagh reach the AI semis?

Cillian bit of a Swan dive there, never a black card. That's twice he has won a decision that was never a free.

Would feel very harshly done by if I was a Cavan man tonight, some of those frees were very dubious, to say the least. Agree with Rodney, we were very complacent and looked like a team that had to just turn up to win. Cavan much hungrier and up for it in 1st half. We definitely improved in second half and almost threw it away going after goals instead of taking the point.

Will take a hugely improved performance in 2 weeks if there is any chance to reach the final. Well done to Cavan and youd have to feel sorry for no 11 after that last free. Surprised no 24 didn't take it as his confidence would have been high after his 2 previous scores.

Does the all Ireland follow the senior draws for both u17 and u20?

Ulster v Con

Mun v Leinster

Any thoughts on favourites from both age groups? Tyrone beat in u20 warm up competition final by Donegal but beat the in ulster Semi. Our minors won the warm up comp and should be there or thereabouts at all Ireland level too.

Anything to be said for God Jnr Jnr being added? Good enough they are old enough etc...

As far as I understand it they can't play while the county is still in the u20 competition but are free to play when they've been beat.

What is the story with under 20s. Can they play senior in same year?
