Love it the way, there is so much footage of football on youtube these days. To think, 2 or 3 years ago, the only GAA footage you could see on youtube were terrible fuzzy videos of fans mobile phones! Faiplay to the Ulster council for putting so much up on the web, and jerome quinn. And especially whoever this 'gaabeo' is! :)

Great input into the conversation there muppet.  ::)

I wanted to get them black/blue preds again, the rugby ones, but cudnt get them. They are a wider fit, better fit for the owl ski's I call feet.

Managers love doing that in Down. Taking corner-forwards and playin them at half back.. James McGovern, Aidan Carr, Rony Murtagh, Rony Sexton, now Danny Hughes..You wouldnt see Kerry playing Colm Cooper at number 5! Surely you would put players that are capable of scoring, closer to the goal. Maybe thats just me..

Theres an arsehole in every club crowd. One time a couple years ago, during a seconds league game, our resident arsehole shouted on to the ref the usual shite when we conceded a free, which to be fair, was the right desicion. I went over to the ref and said, dont listen to him, he doesnt represent us. Then was so wound up, I looked up onto the hill and shouted at said arsehole, to keep your mouth shut, you're not helping. We won comfortably that day, but on a more competitive day, that kind of shite would sway a ref, they are only human after all.

Shouldnt really be seen as a competiton, its great to see both codes thriving in a county.

If Im not mistaken, McKernan, throughout that Macrory/Hogan cup campaign, played at 6, 9, and 11 in various games, then started at 3 for the final.

Preds all the way for me too. Ive wore them for the last 6 or 7 years. I have no idea how many I have had in that time. Personally I have always bought adidas boots anyway. I actually bought preds yesterday, not the newest ones though, they havent grown on me. At the minute I have 2 pairs of the powerswerve ones, one black/blue and i got the black/red ones yesterday. Both cost me 70quid.

GAA Discussion / Re: The Mark - good or bad?

The mark is a great idea, and it should stay. The only problem as you all say is about whether the player has the choice to play on or stop and take the mark. I dont think there is any real argument against it. The mark is a real crowd pleaser, and it rewards an excellent skill, thats the bottom line to be honest.
