Any match updates at half-time?

Match switched to Ballyshannon. Maybe RTE's cables don't reach that far.

There's an Irish pub at the corner of Old town square, can't remember the name of it at the minute, but loads of seats outside it, if you ask in the Irish bar (not the English shite hole beside it) they will point you in the right direction.

I think that Irish bar is called Caffrey's, Old Town Square.  Not a great bar itself, pints aren't Czech-cheap and they weren't overly keen on getting the Championship matches on but we did find out about some good bars on the side-streets.

Maybe if we left the EU, a sense of British identity, of being different would return and we could get back to normal. :)

Now even you know that would be pointless, Tonto.

And it's not top of the agenda for any major political party in Britain despite their odd xenophobic mutterings.

Go figure, as the Yanks say.

I think the bridge is called Charles Bridge.

The castle where Hitler stayed when they invaded there and the cathderal are also v impressive - some climb up the steps to them.

Hated that Rocky O'Reilly's myself.

If you have to go to an Irish bar, then try Molly Malone's, 5 minutes off the old town square (not in or on it).

Prague's OK. Locals a bit unfriendly but then again they probably think you're from a bigger island than ours.

Check out the Communist museum, near Wenceslaus Square. That square itself is full of massage parlours and pick-pockets.

QuoteDo you honestly think it can realistically be prevented when a team that hasn't won an All-ireland before or who have not won one in a long time do so?  It would cause worse mayhem not to let them onto the field.  Just think if Antrim or Armagh won next year.

Ever the kind insult there.......seeing as Armagh haven't won in a 'long time' ::)

Disappointing that Gordy is presenting himself of late as a super Brit / PM in waiting.

Especially when Blair will probably still shaft him in the end and Johnny Reid will be crowned British Taoiseach.

According to British government papers released recently from 1956, the then French PM had recommended France merge with Britain, with Lily Von Windsor as Head of State.

Whether we like it or not, we could now have been now part of a Royaume-Uni!

Tá brón an domhain orm ag scriobh i mBéarla ach mar a dúirt mé roimhe seo, déanaim dearmaid mo chuid Gaeilge agus, anois, níos measa, tá a fhios agam nach bhfuil fáilte romhaim ar bith i gcontae Gailimh fosta!!

I told ye I was rusty.

Perhaps they should bring out a body language guide for the Gaeligoirí then.

e.g. When walking into a bar in Ma'am Cross, wear a bright-pastel colored pair of pants, gaudy t-shirt with the word 'Yankees' emblazoned on it and ask for one of your best glaases of Gui-ne-ess so the cute hoor locals don't think you're one of those mono-cultured Northerners..
