Fergal O Donnell has stepped down tonight from the Roscommon senior job for family reasons. He'll be a huge loss to roscommon football and hopefully will be back another day.

nothing to do with connacht /new york as the five counties go in rotation. Next year Sligo go to New York and Leitrim go to London.

I presume the draw at this time of year allows for the comipilation of the master fixture list this side of Christmas

A host of the country's leading football analysts will attend the Regency Hotel in Dublin on Wednesday June 1 to help launch the Roscommon GAA Members Draw for 2011.

Brian Carthy, Kevin McStay, Paul Earley, Tommy Lyons and Donal Keenan will preview the 2011 Football Championship in all four provinces in a Question and Answer style format that is sure to provoke plenty of lively debate. .

The night will also feature the launch of the Roscommon GAA 2011 Draw, which this year includes a number of additional prizes.

Proceedings, for which there is no cover charge, will commence at 8.30 at the Regency Hotel, Drumcondra on Wednesday June 1. Complimentary refreshments will be served and all are welcome.
