UTV and BBC should either rebrodacast RTE's offerings, or support the terrestrial broadcasting of RTE into all NI homes, not just those daft enough to subscribe to SKY.

RTE show hardly any GAA for over 6 months of the year anyway so it's hardly worthwhile >:(
75% of GAA coverage is on TG4

Just watched it..and must say I really enjoyed it. Some gem quotes in there too, like the Charlie Carter one previously mentioned.

GAA Discussion / Re: Best Footballer in Ireland..

Dessie Dolan is probably the most natural footballer at the moment- Maurice Fitz and Declan Browne were last decade. Hopefully Dessie gets to display his talents on a bigger stage this year if Westmeath continue to improve. Darragh O' Se is the most effective player and Kerry will find it very hard to replace him when he retires. Similarly Brian Dooher with Tyrone.

Stephen McDonnell
Stephen O'Neill
Sean Cavanagh
Colm Cooper
Larry Reilly

All 5 could lay claim to being the best in the country for a period of time this decade.

Peter Reilly was some footballer too, if these two Ulster Championship goals were anything to go by:
