Will be good to see him back!!

This is an interesting story to read for any young GAA lads thinking of heading over, blinded by promises of stardom and a professional lifestyle. It is obviously extremely hard work to make it over there and even when you do, its even harder to maintain it!

Down and Ulster football will be better for his return and good luck to him!

Any young gaelic footballers should take note. This remember is somebody who actually made it over there. Great news for Down and Gaelic Football- best minor I've ever saw.

even better than declan bulger

Apparently he's heading down under for the launch of his new book at the end of the year. But in the mean time he wants to knuckle down playing for Listowel Emmets.

Well thats what I read on RTE.ie

well i do hope he stays, the difference in him from the league match in bellaghy and the all ireland final were unrecognisable, and i think he will get better.could he be Dara's replacement for midfield?

i am of the opinion that he will go back,he was having recurring problems with his shoulder and i think not only would it give him a chance of winning a all ireland but also give his shoulder a chance to heel.the man was earning $500,000 which is roughly 300,000euro,hard to turn down.

Errigal Ciaran had a golf classic a couple of months ago where the local car dealer put up a new car for a hole in one on one of the power 3 holes. Closest was about 2 or 3 inches. Bet the car dealer had some sweat on that day :D

he would have been ok,cars for hole in ones at fundraising events are insured incase this happens, the dealer would have been hoping for a hole in one, cheap publicity.the gui (golf union of ireland)are clamping down on this as it is breaching armature rules.

Cross A rack up another 6-13 in their second game, not up against much yet, but might be hard to stop?
Clonduff prob through v group 2 winners.
An Riocht/ Colmcilles v Cross A
Ballinderry v St GallsGlenullin v Castlewellan
Longstone (scraped through with a late draw, Blayney my bet gone!!) v Carberry Rovers
Omagh v Bryansford/Caherlistrane

Not all of the above are confirmed, but they're unlikely to change too much.

that should be some game

Never saw one tout on Sunday, probably because there were so many tickets available at face value and also plenty of €70 tickets for €50.

there were a couple under the railway bridge just past quinns

I wasn't that far up, well I hope nobody was stupid enough to give them any business. On the other side of Quinns past the bookies there were about 10 different people trying to shift good tickets for €50.

aye there were serious amount of people just wanting to get rid of tickets at face value or less, thats why i was surprised the tout even offered me money.i think the football could be a similar situation, with kerry and cork cant see as many neutrals being interested in going

I think it has the makings of a great match and the atmosphere should be unreal. I know quite a few who hope to go to it. I think they're expecting the odd schemozzle.  ;)

i go to the final every year no matter who plays and i agree with you i think this could be a intriguing match,i am just going by a few men i have talked 2 over this past few weeks who like myself go to the final no matter the teams and they say there not going, this is by no means a exact way of judging who will or wont go and i could be totally wrong it's just my gut feeling.
