Murphy playing flawless snooker here. Punishing every small mistake.

Bingham got dragged into a dogfight and Selby is happy to play like that all day. He's hard to watch sometimes but super effective.

The two semi finals are both evenly poised going into the final session and hopefully lead to a compelling days viewing. Bingham 13-11 up on Selby and Wilson vs Murphy all square at 12-12 despite  Murphy trailing 10-4. Wilson will have be glad to see the end of that session so hopefully he can come back refocused tonight.

Bingham played some fabulous stuff last night to win the session 6-2 and if he can keep up that standard I would expect him to edge through.

All the clowns whinging about spreading COVID need to take a week off but honestly I don't understand how anybody could be bothered to stand in a queue that length just to get some knickers and socks. One look at it and you would be turning straight around.

Yeah I know Kane or Haaland won't be happening. I meant more along the lines that they'll need a high quality striker to replace him. Not really sure who that would be. Andre Silva from Frankfurt and Andrea Belotti from Torino are 2 of the names being touted but not really sure how genuine any of that speculation is. Ideal scenario would be to get another year out of Cavani and hope Greenwood develops into a genuine premiership striker.

Only saw highlights of the game but Pogba, Fernandes and Cavani were all involved in some brilliant passages of play. I'd say Utd will be doing whatever they can to get Cavani to stay another season because it's unlikely they are going to get a Haaland or a Kane. His finish for his 1st goal and his pass for Greenwood's were both of the highest quality.

Not sure where Roma got their sub keeper from mind you.  ;D

Neil Robertson beaten 13-8 by Kyren Wilson. Not for the first time he's come into the world championship in sh*t hot form only for his game to wilt away. He's only made the semi's once since he won it in 2010. Would love to see Wilson go on and win it now.

Selby currently leading Mark Williams 10-2 and he would be my pick to win the whole thing from here.

Average enough match there too, compounded by having to listen to Martin Tyler ejaculate anytime Phil Foden so much as tied his laces.

My got what an awful game of football. Leeds learned their lesson from the game at Old Trafford and Utd were just happy to kick it off Leeds players all day.

My god that 3rd tier competition sounds depressing.

To me that Kerry side was a very good side littered with quality players throughout. The likes of the 3 O'Se's, Paul Galvin, Declan O'Sullivan, Cooper and prime Donaghy were exceptional players at the time. In the period 03-09 they won 4 All Ireland's and were beat in 2 finals. Remarkable consistency. Fair enough the defeats to Tyrone is a slight on their overall greatness but I think it's unfair to say they only beat poor teams.

Awk I don't maybe it's a slight bias because he's one of my favourite players over the years but has any half back been as dominant in the position as he has been over the years? Keegan, McCaffrey, Lacey and McGeeney maybe but for me he was in the best in the last 20 years.

5 All-Ireland's, 5 All stars and a POTY award. 3-35 or thereabouts isn't bad going for a half back. Pound for pound I dont think there's many players who have achieved as much or performed as well in their position as he has in his.

No doubt Sean Cavanagh was a fine player Angelo but I think putting him in top 5 of the last 30 years is stretching it somewhat.

In terms of influence he has to be there.

5 all-stars, 1 FOTY and a key player on the 3 All Ireland's Tyrone won. Name me five more influential players in the past 30 years. He has to be up there.

That's fair enough and more people will probably agree with you than me (they might actually lol at some of my suggestions) but it is purely subjective. The only reason I'm saying is that it's a bit of stretch is the fact it's over the 30 years. If it was purely over the last 15-20 then aye fair enough no doubt he's in the argument.

In terms of what they have done for their respective teams I would go. In no particular order.

Cluxton
Canavan
Giles
Tomas O'Se
Michael Murphy
Brian Fenton

O'Sullivan season summed up in that match. Erratic flashes of brilliance but on the whole inconsistent. McGill showed some composure there to clear up in them last two frames.

Ronnie under pressure tonight. 10-7 down to McGill.
