Would Tyrone be safer losing to fermanagh, getting in a few hard weeks of training and giving it a go through qualifiers? Ulster going to be a minefield and would hate to lose to Derry!

Rules must have changed over over winter.......1 red card each for this one even after video evidence reviewed........in fairness you could.probably find hundreds of examples of this.....

Colm O'Rourke and Oisin Mcconville talking a lot of nonsense......wouldn't have to go too far to find a video of Meath or Crossmaglen in worse hanlins!

Most dangerous tackle in the game was Rian ONeill on Brian Kennedy when he was bending down to pick up the ball......  potential neck breaker.......

Anyway far too much coverage on tv, social media, podcasts etc and everybody spouting nonsense......i

Worst thing about today in Athletic Grounds was Jarlath Burns and then Rory Grugan lying down feigning injury........all 6 officials saw it for what it was.........pure soccer shite!

Down are now the worst team in Ulster! Very sad fall for the aristocracy!

Greencastle get one night of celebration but will have a horrible time next year........Division one will be very difficult for them and Moortown.
Division two very tough for most if not all the existing teams with the four coming down of a higher standard to all of the existing teams.
Four divisions of twelve would go a long way to levelling things up.

Rossfan was there any promotion/relegation? And of the 4 championship games how many were knockout? Of the 8 games how many would you say were taken seriously?

I saw Brian McAvoy saying counties don't start training to 15th Dec.....he must not have his ear to the ground.....loads of lads not being allowed to play for their universities because they are training with county.......split season my arse......county football has taken over......question to clubman out there.....how many serious games of club football did you have this year? Mine had 2!

It will take a serious injury or worse to make the authorities sit up and take notice. Even the media seem reticent to cover these incidents or to follow up on possible sanctions.

Years ago players and teams were severely punished......long suspensions.....I mean 3, 6 and 12 month bans to players and Clun pitches closed......nowadays there are big rows and nothing seems to happen. Bigger punishment for black card infringements.

After winning the all ireland and all of his injury concerns you can only admire Mattie Donnelly and the dedication to his club.

Ref wasn't to blame for the row. Seemed to spiral out of very little but had players, managers, subs and supporters involved......surely that has to be investigated

8 officials and all they could see was one red card each!
