from omagh and just home from a great night in healy park. I thought carrickmore were excellent today and just came up a tad short. to be fair these omagh lads don't know when they are beat. I thought barry Tierney and ronie were superb and thought joey and justy played like the superb footballers they are

How does this work, 1st half football and 2nd half rugby?
I could see the Ulster GAA selection coming back strongly to snatch the game at the end.

;D ;D ;D ;D

I'd be worried about OSE's approach to the game. There's a lot of 'meet the players', 'championships mass' going on, and a lot of hype on their own social media e.g. a count down to the game every day.

I appreciate that a bit of you needs to milk this, but this will just be another game for Carrickmore.

I'd like to see OSE win as they've produced some excellent teams over the last 10 years and haven't win in a while. However I am starting to think it will be Carrickmore's day.

Aye I noticed that too. You'd like to think that is an over zealous chairman and PRO behind that and maybe their management and players have a bit more sense to stay away from that stuff

This is my point. If you haven't saw Carmen play this year then what are you basing you annalysis on. From last year's team they have gained Jonny Monroe, Brendan McLaughlin and Finney Magill and another 1 or 2 that may or may not start. Omagh may be better, or may not be, and everyone is entitled to their favourites but you dismissed Carmen with authority a few posts back and now you say you haven't seen them.

Wee roddy, why so defensive ?

People are only giving opinions. If Carrickmore are good enough they will win. If not they will lose. No need to continually argue that carrickmore are being under rated. It's like you are trying to convince people they are good enough... Yourself maybe ?

They were ultra defensive against Dromore. They won so hardly give a toss. They would have been working on it in their training camp in Mayo this weekend😜
I didn't see the Dromore omagh game but the Coalisland omagh game was open enough

GAA Discussion / Hotels with outdoor training facilities

Does anyone know of any hotels north of Dublin which have their own football pitch/training facilities which could be used for a training weekend. Carton House is the obvious one but are there any others.

Have Omagh a chance this evening?

Not a snowballs chance in hell, not a punchers chance, nothing.

+100%

Gardrumbummed?

Welcome to the discussion Omagh Gael. No doubt it's a tight squeeze on that bandwagon rolled out tonight for all them Omagh ones.

Thought we had the game won when Ronan O'Neill was sent off and we went two points up. Omagh would need to watch that in the final. The officials never seem to have a problem pointing out there misdemeanours. Anyway no excuses (apart from missing McCusker) and good luck to Omagh in the final. I think they will needs pit.
Eh.???
Omagh we're beat tonight and then thay weren't  would it be fair to say dromore didn't have the heart to close out the game but omagh did. Very strange

Hearing conflicting rumours about availability of eoin mc Cusker for the omagh game. Tricky decision to be made by Rouse and Kelly... Do they risk losing by not using mc Cusker at all or do they risk playing him and maybe re opening the wound.
Could you imagine an omagh player playing against dromore in similar circumstances. I'd say the dromore defenders would be very sporting and probably wouldn't touch the injured players face at all  ;D ;D ;D

So what's the craic with the club championship games this weekend?
Will the winner of dromore v omagh lift the o Neill cup, can pomeroy produce two shocks two weeks in a row? Are rock too strong for junior ? So many questions but it seems like everyone is too interested in the Micky and mark show.
What a weekend of football ahead.

Nice to see the County Board have fixed league games this weekend for the same time as the All Ireland Semi between Kerry and Mayo  ::)
Would you prefer to play in November?
Watch the semi on the Sunday Game
