I don't usually follow this sort of nonsense in the media, but am I right in saying that this Thomas woman went to court last week (pictures of her on the news today looking all sad outside court) with the backing of the Scum newspaper so she could get the injunction lifted so she could tell the world, via the paper, that she shagged someone? I.e Giggs!

Her mother must be so proud!

Well said i also find the whole thing pure nosense & her family, friends must think shes pathetic.

Takes quite a bit of the shine off "19".

Disgraceful stuff, who is next? Scholesy? Mike Phelan?

Very good  :D

What are your feelings about finishing 4th? i guess it depends on who you get in the draw.

To keep some of the posters happy here maybe someone should create a rumours gossip thread?

Only saw the highlights it looked a good game however would have to feel sorry for Blackpool i hope they can come back up again.

Yes to make any progress Longford need more accurate kickers, Laois were poor today must be a big worry for them before they head to Croke Park.

Doesn't seem to be any thread on this game? should be a big interest from the rossies followers here

Have Leitrim got a chance? odds suggest they don't! Sligo 1/6 draw 10/1 Leitrim 5/1

Any body have a bet?  Didn't see that coming so well done Leitrim.

I had 10 euro on Leitrim however i wasn't brave enough to put more money on  :-\ As they say goals wins games & i think that goal won it for Leitrim! it came at the right time when Sligo were coming back into the game & you can't begrudge Leitrim that success today full value for the win.

They won't fear the rossies & i'm sure the bookies won't be so silly with the odds again?

Laois are far more clinical with their kicking & Longford will probably end up with another 10-15 wides so I'd fancy Laois to win this with a bit to spare.

I placed some money on Wicklow, kildare are sure to win now.

Real Madrid put 8 past Almería tonight, Ronaldo gets 2 which takes him to a record-breaking 40 goals in one season  :o granted, 11 of them were in the 4 games that came after the league was over, but it's still a hell of a record.

Edit: For anyone who's interested, the relegation battle in La Liga is even tighter than the one in the Premiership. All the games are being played now.
He's not a great team player and his attitude stinks at times but what a player Ronaldo is.

Maybe he is unfortunate to play in the same era as Messi and his international career hasn't been amazing but I don't think Ronaldo's feats over the last 4/5 seasons have got the credit they deserve.

Who was the last player in Italy, Germany or England to score 40 league goals in a season? I know Dixie Dean has the record of 60 in England but I don't remember anyone scoring more than 35.

I'd say Alan Shearer got close to 35 league goals in a season, Ronaldo has taken to the La liga like a duck to water! he's arguable finding it easier than the PL.

Big fall from grace for Deportivo however not surprising when you see all the cash is with the big two.

Fergie talking about twitter today, "I don't know why anybody can be bothered with that stuff," he said.

"How do you find the time to do that? There are a million things you can do in your life without that.

"Get yourself down to the library and read a book. Seriously. It is a waste of time.

"It seems to have a certain momentum at the moment. Everyone seems to want to do it."

You could find faults in every favourite on the road to Croker however Kerry remains one of the best & whoever beats them will probably win the All Ireland.

QuoteBit of a shocker for the minors last night Mike...

Indeed 11 points up and still lose is not good, something not right in our Minor and U21 teams the last few years. Hopefully the Seniors can keep our flag flying.

Kerry haven't won a minor since 1994. All they want is to unearth two or three players every year. When they don't do that it's time to worry.

True about the minors however Kerry got plenty of Senior players from the under 21 success in the 90s

All dislke and biase aside I think Kerry are an aging team and won't do much this summer

Brave words before a potential trip to Killarney.

I'm surprised Fergie allowed Rooney on a social internet site, afterall he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
