Apparently they shook him all night long in an attempt to revive him

f**k off you twisted tr**p.

Unfortunately, although I have put the idiot on ignore, his nonsense still shows up, when he's quoted. Big drawback on this site.

QuoteI hear he's a fair arse on stage though.

Remember the night many years ago Christy played Newry Leisure Centre.  When the gig was over, they locked the exits from the hall so the punters couldn't leave.  The promoter took to the mic to announce no one was allowed to leave until Christy had left the carpark .... lovely.

That being true, not much point singing about The Stardust then.

Ben Kingsley in Sexy Beast takes that crown.

Sexy Beast - great picture! Kingsley's character was 1 seriously scarey man, when he went off on a rant. He probably didn't actually have to get violent, you knew that he meant every single word of it & would back it up with action, if required to.

u21b game between ourselves and Portglenone has been moved to next tuesday night over in Portglenone at 8pm. we have the Ulster minor hurling semi final on sat plus our gala dinner sat night so fair dues to them for moving it.

Doesnt matter that its in their ground at all, only a few more mile away from rasharkin.

Bit of common sense..

"Common sense" & "Antrim GAA". Not very often that you come across those 2 things, in the same sentence.

Knows his way 'around' a rule book?  ;D who needs rules, blow the whistle and let her rip!

You were fond enough of trying to teach me the rulebook, when you were supposed to be playing & I was supposed to be officiating!!!

Even MR2's sat nav has no idea where the South West is located..... ;)
[/quote]

I can recall having a conversation with MR, when he was stuck in traffic outside the Protestant Hall on the Galgorm Road in Ballymena. A great place to discuss GAA affairs, indeed. The man clearly knows his way to the South West. Not to mention knowing his way round the rulebook!!!

Fantastic programme, RTE do that kind of thing well in fairness to them..

Loved the referee viewpoint (obviously) players trying to con, manipulate or chance their arm the whole way!

Did a league final at weekend, first time I wanted to smack a supporter ! Glad there was no mic on me!

& what, exactly, brought that on lol???

Flew into Naples with Aer Lingus in September. Stayed there couple of nights & then moved on to Sorrento, for rest of the week. Didn't spend a lot of time in Sorrento, to be honest. Took an ordinary bus service along coast road to Positano & Amalfi one day. Next day, train to Pompeii. Following day, boat out to Capri, so really ended up spending only 1 daytime in Sorrento & it was all serious thunderstorms & torrential rain. Sorrento's ok as a base, I got a hotel in the town centre, which claimed it was four star, but that was mainly based on its central location. There was an Irish bar on one of the main streets, showing the AI hurling final on the day I arrived from Naples.....Sorrento has reasonably good bus links & train / ferry services. Went back to Naples for 1 more night at the end, to get flight home the next day, hadn't realised that there was a direct bus from Sorrento - Naples airport. Naples is a bit run down & somewhat dodgy, had a pick pocketing attempt outside the main train station. Next stops - Vienna just before Xmas & then Chicago next Easter.

Sure they're sending 1,000s of jobs to Ballykelly.  Of all places.  It will come to a standstill now.
