There's definitely not the same buzz to the start of the leagues as a few years ago. It used to be hell for leather in the first 5/6 rounds with the county players. Feels similar to the intercounty season.

I move O:Shea to cornerforeard, he's a good scorer but been bad a few yrs now.

A very good free taker. Beyond that doesn't offer much more at the minute.

This satire ?

No.

Leeds having to play a poor Spurs side at home could be their saviour. Couldn't trust Everton to get a win.

Quote from: High Fielder on May 19, 2023, 03:41:53 PMI was shocked to read that Joe Brolly was planning to boycott the Ulster Final if RG was there. Isn't or wasn't he a barrister? I'm sure he's had to defend some unsavoury characters

You have to open your wallet to get them to park their morals.

So he says anyway. Joe wouldn't have missed his chance of blowing kisses to the crowd at half time. Probably would have boycotted it just the same as he was invited by Biden to fly on Air Force One only the missus had a hair appointment ::)

So if players were getting yellow carded in the past there should be loads of examples of players getting a black card since it was a rule? As I said there should be plenty now in the remaining games of the championship.

I would have no problem with Morgan's black card if we had seen the same applied in every other match since that rule has come in. I can't remember any other examples? Now Gough has set the standard I'll be expecting several black cards in the remaining matches this year.

Hard one to judge with the early red card but seemed we were happy just to keep the score down in the 2nd half. Even with 14 Galway were there for the taking but we never looked like winning it.

Surprised to see O'Donnell coming on. Must be impressing

Ahead of McGeary as well and first one in. McGeary only come on as a 2 minute blood sub. Interesting the 4 subs that came on were all from the u20 team last year.

There is an awful lot of guff spoken about Tyrone

https://twitter.com/offtheball/status/1659490326120132611

The 2 great mysteries of the championship are Mayo and Tyrone. Mayo are 7/1 and Tyrone are 15/1
Perhaps it should be the other way around.

David Brady talks some absolute dung. Tyrone finished 4th in the league yet are on a downward spiral.

Still laugh at his tweet the morning of the All ireland final 2021. Here it is for anyone who can't remember...

The same fella was on OTB during the week saying Westmeath have a good chance of coming out of this group.

Edit: Just see the clip posted above.

It won't matter who the presenter is if they keep serving up the same guests on rotation. Format needs a change. Graham Norton show the ideal format though obviously they won't be getting the calibre of guests he does.

Logan/Dooher never really seemed to rate him. I always thought he was a decent player when he first came onto the scene under Harte.

I see Liam Rafferty playing for Galbally tonight. Was he on the panel at all this year?
#704
He was poor enough in the league in any of the game time he was given. No one seems to know if it's injury or he's that much out of form he's at least number 27 on the panel.

I see people are questioning why Cathal Mcshane isn't on the squad for tomorrow's game, they must not realise he has a wedding to attend this Thursday could hardly be expected to play a game so close

And a band booked tonight for the 2nd day. Wonder do they have anything planned tomorrow?
