Yes they have been changed and once again I don't know when I can work/not work this weekend. Do you think the games will go ahead as planned now?  I cannot see the county players playing this weekend so will they change to a round of starred fixtures or be scrapped altogether?

If they stick rigidly to the 6 day rule then why were last weekends games starred? If Tyrone win there is no way county players will be available next weekend so what will they do:

1. play the games that are already scheduled
2. play the next starred round
3. play no games

It is going to happen so why not put a plan in place and let everyone know.

Sorry for ruling you out Limerick!

Good point WT4. hopefully it is not left to Sunday night/Monday morning before everyone finds out. How about sending out a scenario A and B now so teams can plan?

This IS a problem in Tyrone and if you want further proof go to some of the club championship games over the next two weeks. Hopefully the club referees have had a meeting and made a united decision to apply the rules fully and punish ALL incidents appropriately using yellow, red and black cards.
I saw some footage of the recent Ardboe v Omagh league game and heard a lot of reports and I have to say it is hard to believe that there was not one red card produced.
The rules are there to protect players from physical and mental abuse if referees would only enforce them.
As well as referees the onus is on club officials and club management to ensure that their players wear the jersey respectfully and uphold the reputation of their club.
We can then have fantastic games of tough football.

If Tyrone lose on Sunday the first round of the qualifiers is not until the end of June. There would be time to get a couple of league games in and then play championship with every team having at least 5 games played. This would still mean the county would have time to prepare.........is this a possibility? I appreciate Tyrone could win by the way!

I have been told that Cookstown v stewartstown is on before clonoe v coalisland in edendork. It will be the weekend after tyrone game if they win and 2 weeks after if they lose. Don't know what happens if it's a draw.
Has anyone anything concrete on championship fixtures? Would be nice to have a bit of notice!

When do you think we will know for definite:
1. that there are games this weekend
2. what day they are on
3. what time they are at

I agree with Red Hand Man - if they try and force championship games in May all club players should stand together and refuse to play!

What the f@&k!!!!!!!! The idiots knew from last Saturday night that the under 21s were in the final. How come it takes 4 days to make a decision? Work fecked up again........I agree  with the decision by the way but why does it have to take so long to get it right? We need better people at the top who can make clear decisions or if not the people that are there presently need to step up to the plate.........

i don't think any of the under 21 team should have to make a choice whether or not to play for their club this weekend so call of the games as required.
I don't think the club championship should be forced through in May if the only reason is to ensure the winners get more than one week break after the Tyrone final (there was adequate time last year and chances are there will be this year too!)
Somebody in authority make these decisions NOW, let everyone know, the under 21s will be given unqualified support, the seniors will be given unqualified support, the minors will be given unqualified support.
The way things are club and county are at odds, players are being pulled in 2 directions and there is considerable angst that could be easily solved.
Unless someone can give really compelling reasons for pushing on regardless (no plans were made to include Tyrone making under21 final) I just don't get why this is not easily sorted............
