Seamus Darby by a mile.
How can that be Ireland's Greatest Sporting moment. Shouldn't even be in the list imo.

Houghton moment a deserved and obvious winner.

Not that Leix have ever had anything to shout about.
It is said that when Mandela was released from prison, the first question he asked was: have Leix made it out of Leinster yet?  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Ep.6 https://m.soundcloud.com/user-362119749 ... mary-dunne

Very interesting topic.
I think that between 2/3 to 4/5 clubs in a divisional side would be efficient depending on area, numbers, etc.
Obviously one of the two teams could be promoted. I have alternative arrangements in the event of it happening.

West to East:
Shannon Gaels (Shannonbridge, St Rynaghs, Lusmagh)
St Colm's (Doon+Erin Rovers) could have Doon/Ballycumber/Tubber-ER JOIN K/K side
St Manchan's (Ballycumber+Tubber) see above
Ferbane
Birr+South Offaly
K/K, Kinnitty, Drumcullen, possibly Clodiagh Gaels/ER
Shamrocks
Clara
Durrow
Tullamore
Cappincur
United Nations(remainder of St Vincent's)
Raheen/Ballinagar, probably Clodiagh Gaels
St Brigid's/Clonmore/Ballyfore
Gracefield
St Broughan's
Rhode
Edenderry

9 Ulster, 5 Connacht, Kerry, Louth, Meath, Westmeath,  Laois/Offaly,  Carlow, Kildare Wicklow and Longford.
Sorry it's  24.

What about the sheepshaggers?  Connacht is 4+the sheepshaggers

Ruairí Allen from Offaly is an unreal, physically strong player. Should be on it. He's sub 6 foot, but he caught kickouts above Gearóid McKiernan's head in the qualifiers. McKiernan is 6ft 5"
Technically very good as well.

Dublin should be split, and regional teams should be created. They go hand in hand.

What do you mean by regional teams? You think we should split Dublin, and then create teams like the Westmeath/Offaly/Roscommon Shannonsiders or something?

If they do that, they can forget about my euros. The only reason I go to games is because the players represent me or my place.
Laois/Offaly has a nice ring to it and of course would represent all 150k who live there.
Sure ye're all the same there anyway.

Could put Roscommon with Galway as sheepsh*ggers Utd.  ;D ;D ;D

Seems they admitted that he applied for Donegal job before he went near Sligo. (Facepalm)  ;D  ;D ;D

Michael - if that's the case you were probably very unfortunate to come across a bunch of Neanderthal morons. I've been to trad sessions up and down the country and never heard what you described. I would recommend you try the fleadh ceoil next year in  Ennis I think, it's a great experience.

Indeed, such a thing would be very uncommon and rightly so.

Speaking of OO history, I was poking around for some other information and I came across a fact previously unknown to me, that the Arts centre in Birr was originally built as an Orange hall! Offaly interesting.

We disown them. Your man in the castle is one of them. Although, he is the most hated person in Offaly. When the People's Debate was in Offaly, all of the area of land around Birr was "affluent". It was because he owns it all.

The dubs will need 5 men alone to stop Allen. Ruairí that is.

Wicklow, potentially Dublin.

Good draw for Tipp with Steven O'Brien back as well.
Never mind them.
It's all about US.💚🏐💛

I hope we get another crack at the lads who have never seen Sam in Mullingar. ;D

I suspect this will be a move towards a more defensive game plan. Pascal has the best team in Offaly by a mile, but he has set his teams up to defend en-masse and hit fast, hard and in numbers. He's used to a couple of marquee forwards so he should be used to the likes of Quinlivan and Sweeney. Interesting stuff.

Will he stay on with Rhode?

Has Parkinson ever held down a job outside of the GAA. Parkinson I'd say is good craic but definitely not an analyst to be taken too seriously. He has surfed the wave of a minor AI win about 20 years ago and appears to be still riding it since. A wind up merchant who know's how to play the game of keeping himself relevant.

I refuse to listen/click on anything associated with the ass-hole(Parkinson). He has a handier number than Joe Duffy, and that's saying something.
