I really don't want to call a fella out but Duffy is awful or made look awful in that Celtic side...totally out of his depth.

I thought Celtic were the form team having won 8 on the bounce? Maybe i'm wrong. Angelo you should start a petition to get Lennon out...don't wait until the have a bad defeat, get it started now. Write to the Board and show them your evidence.
Ohh btw nice support on the eve of a big match, some fan you are.

Nope.

Celtic's performances have been putrid.

Scraping wins against the likes of Dundee Utd, Livingston, St Mirren, dumped out of Europe by Ferencvaros, thoroughly abject against Riga and Sarajevo.

If you are satisfied with the performances then you haven't seen many games this year.

Would you prefer good performances in which Celtic get beat?

Theres only so long you can win playing poorly.

Scott Brown played a cameo yesterday after watching a horrendous 80 minutes of Football which was disjointed and lacked emphasis.

Once he came on the field there were 3 major changes.

Firstly the St. Johnstone midfielders who had strolled around deep into our half regressed backward, the free flowing passing turned into pumping the ball upfront to be recycled by Celtic for attack after attack.

It was relentless.

Secondly, we saw the captain playing direct balls to our attacking options, he very nearly sent Calmac through on for a goal with a smart chip.

Brown played several other balls straight at players instead of this endless side to side play, the team picked up on this and we were far more incisive.

Thirdly and most importantly, he dragged the Bhoys forward on every level of their games, we rose as a club and where we had been flat and a little lost, we were sharp and direct.

This will almost certainly be Scott Brown's last season on this side of the white line at Celtic, I truly fear for how we will fill his boots.

The brigade of haters who would have him cast aside for whatever reason a set of statistics arms them with in an argument, I say to you this, everyone in Scottish Football hates Scott Brown, because he is the last man anyone wants to see on the other side of halfway when they get off their knee.

Broony is an indispensable member of the team and must start every match.

Those who disagree are playing into our enemies hands, believe me, they don't want him bossing the park when Celtic play their team.

Good post totally agree with you bud...its easy to say drop him Brown but when hes not the team they are totally lost..he does the simple things and allows others to play. I would have been one thinking take him out of it but I dont think they can afford not to have him in the team.

I believe its 10...I think some of those Kilcoo lads could end up with quite a few more yet not much to touch them in Down.

County Final tomorrow , the biggest turn off in decades.

Zero interest in it with that club from The East against the weakest team ever to reach a final.

Thankfully this season is over and a very disappointing one , how that draw was made is unbelievable.

Just no buzz about 'Point or Newry and it is not good for Down.

Anyone else here feel such a damp squib the final is ?

;D you've been missed fella!

Should have just scrapped the All-Ireland, can't see the public having any interest whatsoever

Play the remaining NFL games and the Club Provincials/All-Irelands....Junior, Intermediate and Senior

Have to agree...club football has been a good follow this year without county football and would have been nice to see the thing played through to the the All Ireland. Club football has been more than adequate replacement for county stuff and provided imo more competitive games for viewing.

Not sure what you mean by that last post Gabriel, happy to discuss further if you think it would be useful.

I think he was finding it hard to take you serious after that comment.

Carryduff look like they could become a decent outfit over the next few years...they are young and if they stick at it with a few additions will give most there fill of it. Totally deserved to win that match tonight and I like the fact they love a goal..would have been nice to see the 70m effort roll into the net when Reid was playing out the field instead of doing his job (not blaming the goalkeeper - stupid tactic I don't like bring the goalie into the middle of the park). Bryansford were poor all over and very disappointing - 1 player missing for them was David McKibben? injured? Wouldn't have won it with him but would have helped. Congrats Carryduff - potential Championship Final with Ballyholland now in semi final.
Mckibben doesn't get on with the management team. heard he was training with the stone
Didn't realise that some miss. I think it about time someone went up to the stone and looked him back!

Ah come on. If teams start doing that then what hope will we have of living with this? Is that a genuine reason to stop? Genuine question.

Yes, it's an excellent reason to stop, otherwise if any of their players picked it up they'll probably pass it on to whoever they are marking in the next game and the cycle continues!

Remember it could also have worked the other way with a Castlewellan member / members being carriers and transferring to the other 2 named clubs (or vice versa)...no one knows thats the problem.

Nanderson you are crazy.
The game has evolved massively but so to would that team
Crazy statement
I never said that the 90's team would have evolved. Its if the two teams stayed in the era that they are currently in. I would fancy Darren O'Hagan to do a job on Linden and nullify their main threat up front.
Nanderson you gave me a laugh if nothing else  ;D

I'm not sure they would if they can only score 7 points against a fellow club team in the open spaces of Croke Park.

The point remains as has been said before it's ridiculous to think a decent club team would beat a county team.

The county team is no great shakes at the moment. I wouldnt bet to much on them beating anything at the minute based on what they have done for the last 10 years i.e. nothing.

Guys / Girls looking any recommendations for a trail type shoe - I used a Mizuno Wave Harrier in the past which I liked it ok but it has since been discontinued. I run usually in local forest parks on fire roads etc with small bit of mud / tarmac - anyone can recommend anything for use in parks? Maybe the Wave Harrier was overkill but i really liked it so looking something similar if possible.
