There's no doubt about that Rossfan! The only thing is, if you've conceded 1-21 in the first 55 minutes you'll be some points kicker to win the match! Geezer must have given the boys a rest from their defensive drills in 2010!!!!!!!!!!!

I would say that all successful managers are over-rated, and, most unsuccessful managers are under-rated!IT'S THE CULT OF THE MANAGER!!!!!!!!!!

There's a leinster final in this louth team.

Some good footballers though a fair few of them could do with some bulking up.

look where kildare's bulking up got them? kildare looked like minature bodybuilders. louth looked like footballers

Have to say lads, it takes a real expert to spot the mistakes in a team's preparations on the television!

I dunno what going on here but anyway...

As I sit on my ass
On the back of my ass
This paradox comes to mind:
Though half of my ass
Is in front of my ass
While the whole of my ass is behind.
Jaysus, that takes some working out when you've just gotten off a high-stool :-\

Don't know, it was  strange that one! Usually, apologies like that contain corrections or retractions. I read last week's column and am none the wiser as to the inaccuracy,I could now believe the inaccuracy and disbelieve some other part of the article!

This debate has been rehearsed in just about every pub in Tyrone over the last 15 years and it still intrigues me!My own opinion is that Frank was the George Best of Gaelic football. However,if you were to give me the choice of a player for my team Canavan would always be the man.Peter Canavan contributed more to Tyrone football by his 22nd birthday(he wasn't even legal at the time) than Frank did in his whole career. When it comes to raw talent Johnny Corvan beat them all !!!!!!!!!!!!

Doubt if any county sold out after four days last year, very few people would even have known about them after four days last year!Bought one for myself and one for my 14 year old daughter last year, the introduction of the juvenile ticket for e10 is an absolute dream! With the addition of the League Final e75 is a gift for anybody who goes to all their county's matches!!!!!

McGrane was very good and very effective but he was a long way off being as good as Dara O'se.

Joyce is in the 125 is he not?
Did Kerry ever get the better of Armagh in the mid-field battles when both were in their prime?

If the GAA are serious about stopping supporters getting on to the field they would be able to do it. If they want to do it within the next three years get them top PM me, I would be more than willing to give them my help for a very reasonable consultancy fee. Their efforts so far have been laughable, plan B my arse!!!!

Glad they are gone.... wasn't always won with football!
Have to say, the last time Cross and Bellaghy played in the club c'ship, in Cross, Bellaghy gave one of the most cynical displays of football I have ever seen! Among many other things, the goalkeeper went down with a 'sore hand' on about four occasions in the second half, when they had built up a lead with the wind in the first-half.

He said in the article that he had sought 'guarauntees on a couple of points'.... 'on Monday', then when the 'letter wasn't furnished on Tuesday',not a lot of time for manouvre there.I'll take some convincing this wasn't a two fingered gesture, and as an Armagh man I can't help but believe they were in some small way directed at me!

Article in the Tribune today referred to an unused sub being the player who leaked the team and tactics. Not sure who this is referring to.

More finger poimting at the invisibles.

Not sure what your getting at?

Was actually a well written article that was well informed and hit the nail on the head.

A lot of things have been said and things implied. Individuals have been talked about written about. Mc Donnell says he knows who was responsible for the leaks and has given interviews about it.

To avoid a lot of ambiguity and to stop the rumour mill which is in overdrive, he should come out and name those responsible if has proof ( which he says he has ). If he doesn't then he should stop talking about it and end the recriminations.

Agreed, its time to put up or shut up. Don't think that will happen now though. I think his comments were a smokescreen for his inadequacies as a manager. He might have been a good number 2 but lacked the authority and presence to be the front man.
A lot of misinformation on the go here I think!
Orangeman, where did Peter Mc Donnell say he had proof?
yellowcard, when was Peter Mc Donnell a no.2 in management?
