Niall Daly will captain the team.

Ros team named.......D o, Malley......S mc Dermott, N Collins, N mc Inerney.........D Murray N Daly R Stack........C Shine I Kilbride........F Cregg ESmith C Murtagh........C Connolly S Kilbride C Cregg

Neither Conor Daly or Diarmuid Murtagh are named as subs, yet Cian Connolly is named on team and bench.

Ros Co Board say they still have tickets

Home advantage is crucial for this game, which makes Kiltoom the only show in town.
Best of luck to the Rossies. Team to be named tonight.

Could be a major blow to Roscommon`s chances on Sunday.

Forward, Diarmuid Murtagh, missed his colleges Sigerson Cup match
thrrough injury, which makes him very unlikely to play against Monaghan.
#65
Main Street, thanks for offering us the chance to see Mc Manus, but we can see him some other time.
#66
Which 6 forwards are we going to see on Sunday?...Cregg, Kilbride and 2 Murtagh`s are
certainties. Possibly Harney and Devaney. Will Enda Smith line out at midfield or forwards?
Could Cian Connolly even come into the reckoning?
#67
We`ll get over the ticket situation. The main thing is that the game
is going ahead at a Roscommon venue, as opposed to moving
it to somewhere like Carrick or even Clones.

This game has officially been Switched to Kiltoom.

If Hyde Park is hanging in the balance, it's prospects won't be helped by the weather forecast for Connacht. Very wet weather tonight and tomorrow......We're a Division 1 team with a third world pitch. Having to play it in Clones would be an absolute shambles.

It only became an issue for Mayo AFTER they lost the All Ireland final to Donegal. They
obviously expected Sam to be on that plane with them. They couldn`t stomach it after that.

Nice to put the rossies back in their box

Disappointing to see Seafoid so ungracious in victory.
I suppose we can expect more of the same if fate decides
that Galway beat Roscommon in the Connacht final, if they
both make it.

Lads, is it any wonder that players suffer burn out and injuries. Use Roscommon as just one example.

Last Sunday, they played Mayo..Last Thursday night, they played Armagh in a challenge match
and today they played Galway. That`s 3 games in a week, all on heavy pitches. No doubt, there was a training
session thrown in as well. Madness.

Between all the various colleges, there are a total of 33 Roscommon players listed to be involved, although a few of them are injured.
