Probably relieved that he can now return to the flag protests!

TIT...You should have mentioned that to Paddy Barnes before he supported his corner tonight. Away off to the politics threads (you'll not have too far to go) and see what they think about it

He seemed to be dropping his guard a lot which seemed strange but job done. Was nip and tuck up to that point.

maybe there's dropping your guard stupidly and dropping your guard smartly ( i know v little about boxing ), but frampton is a sharp enough mover. Well done, good win

Ring your mechanic in case he needs to order them in.  Also, he may suggest that you replace the spring on the other side.  If it failed due to wear tear, it may be prudent to replace both sides.

Thanks D.F.  :)

Lapses at he back are really halting what could be decent progress, Agger was sleeping for the first and obviously Reina for the second. A top centre back has to be a priority in the summer & someone to compete with or replace Reina, Agger is great with he ball at his feet but he just doesent do the dirty, basic stuff well enough at the minute. Attacking wise it is as good as anyone in the division, Sturridge looks like a steal at that price.

minder, i'd have to disagree with you just there about Agger. watching him v arsenal the other night, he went in carra like and put his whole body in for a shot block when arsenal were pushing for a 3rd, that to me is doing the dirty stuff. I think agger is our new rock at the centre. We're shaping well now and rodgers has them on the right road.

I've just discovered the car has a broken front spring on the passenger side. is it still safe to drive for a few days until i can get it booked in with my mechanic ?

When you say spring, do you mean Shock Absorber?  If it is the shock absorber, you should be alright for a few days.  Just be careful and go slow.  No Motorways.

i think its the coil spring which maybe sits outside the shock ? but it sits well above the tyre so i might be able to chance a short trip tomorrow ? theres not a chance i'd motorway this. I'll get it into the mechanic on tuesday.

I see on twitter/facebook some Unionists have moved their attentions onto another flag, namely that of the BA Parachute Regiment... Coinciding with a certain anniversary funnily enough.

These people have no shame. Whatever about civilian casualties from IRA actions I have never seen anyone, nationalist, republican or otherwise, celebrate civilian deaths.

Sick fcukers.  >:(

Unfortunately I have heard these from t**ts, I remember Enniskillen bomb and I one lad that i went to school with was cheering like fcuk, told him to wind his neck in. Then he went on and tried to justify it

a fairly similar experience myself but a dissident group involved as we know in the Omagh bombing. But i remember being out in Monaghan that night, and a squad of boys all getting on to their bus at the end of the night singing the songs of Irish freedom which I enjoy myself, but i thought to myself, tonight is not the night to be singing our songs, well of course me with a few sups in me let them know, i had to turn on my heels and make a run for it as a few of them took exception. i'm still mystified to this day as to how they were proud of anything that happened that day to sing in the way they did. it was a shameful act but a bus load of boyo's on our side seemed quite proud that night ! i was sickened

Abble, is there too much good food at Christmas?  Love to scoop up spoonful after spoonful of political trifle.  And if the board offers fare that you don't like, you can just say, "No, I've had my fill, thanks."

the one thread would near do it

Every third thread on here is politics related, far too much politics guff on here.

The plan is to get a drum, but that will hardly last long. Me and the owner prepared to get some, but no point forking out big when other lad can't afford it! This is the problem when you live with people of a student mentality.

so because someone admits to not being able to afford something they have a student mentality...have you looked around you lately, we're in a bit of a recession

Yes, I have looked around me and I feel the effects of it like everyone else. Doesn't mean I can't put a little bit away every month and prepare for things such as this. All I'm saying is that there are some people who move into rentals who don't prepare for the other bills that go along with it.  Just don't think it's fair on other housemates.

did his rental contract stipulate that he must contribute to the home heating oil bill ? if so then yeah i'd agree with you.

oil drums though are just another ripoff i'd imagine as they're not gonna last a tap, they say the less you buy the more you pay per litre or whatever

The main thing for me, is why in under fek would the county board accept naming of its historical county ground after someone of his reputation for a start. a man who has done nothing for the game in my view, (apart from putting in his 100,000s). if someone (sponsor) thinks he has that high an authority within a certain sport, club/county because they sponsor it then something is very very wrong.

I've seen it at club level though, some bucko sponsors a club, next thing you might see the son getting a jersey, as handy as you like, at all levels. various persuasions are at play and the same can be seen at county level also in many different aspects.

There are some dark arts at play with various sponsors and before getting involved with the likes, you need strong people at the helm to ward them off from most matters. Because envelopes are getting handed over left, right and centre some people though will fall for it and the next thing is, that sponsor thinks they're half running the show !

there is a whole can of worms behind this though and its been brewing, hopefully with Morgan out of the way now, things can move on and certain players from the same neck of the woods as Morgan are also prepared to move on. Hopefully now also, Grimley can take better control, i dont think he's the type to be walked over easily, so hopefully he (and his team) can pull the whole thing together again and Armagh can start making major progress
