His ownership made Chelsea into a Titan of European football. They were little more than an Everton or Spurs when he bought them. He transformed club football in Europe too, the first club to really pour big money into the game. Whilst he lead the way it's probably naive to say he's to blame for the commercialisation of football and the erosion of the traditional football landscape. He was a part of it surely but it was just a matter of time before big business realised they could manipulate football to their own ends. Look how rugby is now inthralled to venture capitalists and hedge funds.

It all started when Liverpool, Man Utd, Spurs, Everton and Arsenal all wanted a bigger slice of TV Money and threatened a break away that eventually became the Premier League. They wanted a better product.

I think Watford and Norwich will go down but i have a sneaking suspicion that Burnley do enough to get out of trouble.  Everton, Brentford and Leeds all in a bit of trouble.

Norwich, Brentford and Watford for me.

McHugh managed Red Hughs in 2020 doubling with taking the Tatts after 5 or 6 games.

McHugh managed Castlederg last year. Ferguson doubled up with the Donegal side and Tattyreagh. Both were at Moortown in 2020.

You're right. Too many Stevies.

Chelsea win 2-0 over Tottenham in what was a formality after they took the lead. However Tottenham had an earlier goal struck off after Thiago Silva blatantly dived to win a free off Harry Kane. He may have actually been fouled but the way he dived to win the free leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

So he was fouled then as you said?
I don't think he dived at all. It was a clear push in the back.

This incident appears to be a talking point but very little made of the foul on Azpilicueta or Doherty on Sarr.

What's wrong with Belfast, sure it is supposed to win Oscars?
I think that is the problem - it has been hyped and for the life of me I can't see why. Does anyone know if it was written as a play and then converted to film, as that's what it plays like. And the presence of Van Morrison singing doesnt help.

Said the exact same. It looks just like a play.
I enjoyed it but there is not much to it.

All North-West testing centres booked out all day. I'd say with high percentage of folk not bothering to wear masks (grown adults not wearing masks has really started to grate on me, arseholes the lot of them, unless genuinely exempt of course) , the amount of socialising and the likes of Anne McCloskey and her growing social media lunatic army (bulging with PTs who are experts in press ups and virology) continuously spreading nonsense, the numbers in Derry City will be off the charts in the next week or 2.
I was in Derry on Christmas Eve. Couldn't believe the number without masks, seriously the worst I've seen in both the shopping centres.

Pubs in Derry just threw table service out window last night if social media pictures are to believed. Rammed

Yeah but we'll have the head of hospitality NI saying we should be trusted to operate responsibly.

People don't give a shit any more re masks. Businesses will complain about passports, lockdowns etc etc but won't implement the most basic of measures.
When you're in a shop wear a mask.

Battle of the two 'Towns' in the IFC though. Tyrone sides usually strong at this level, but steelstown making statements with their victories.

Nobody relegated this year in Tyrone

There was, four teams each relegated from Divisions 1 & 2.

Sorry didn't realise that , who came down from senior championship

4 teams came down this year.  However none came down in 2020 to compete in the 2021 Intermediate Championship.

The 4 this year was to compensate for none in 2020.

I'm not county board apologist but it's getting to the stage where people are going out of their way to be offended by anything they do.

The things is you'll have some seasons where you'll have say 4 x starred games without County men. Then other years Tyrone will go out early and you might have 1 or 2.

I think it might take a year or two but with a few tweaks it'll work better.

Edit here's a good one bit might not work for a poster:
