In a slightly disturbing development the police have contacted all the GAA clubs & a number of pubs in the Lurgan/Portadown area advising them to tighten up their security arrangements.

Hopefully just a precaution. Id imagine all potential "targets" on both sides have got something similar.

There has been new graffiti put up in Mourneview last nite reading 'an eye for an eye' and the Haddocks taxi have been stoned in the last few days as well.. doesnt bode well for the weekend and Paddys day celebrations...

went down to granemore ballymacnab match. pretty dull affair for a dearby game. thought the ref was bad (both ways) and the game never really came to life even though it was tight it wasn't exciting. mccones frees for ballymacnab won it for them in the end. i suppose both teams have new managers and still getting to know players etc. although ballymacnab had the slight advantage of playing a couple of games in the mid ulster league they looked just that little bit sharper. Anyone else think Ben's blood might be from killing Penny?  He told Jack in the church that he was going somewhere because he'd made a promise to an old friend.  (He promised Widmore in the last series that he'd kill Penny)

i think granemore have agreed to play it midweek to suit the nabs ulster commitments. how neighbourly!

Did ben not meet her a couple of episodes ago in a butchers or something along those lines and she told him that he had to get everyone.

i used to live down the bottom of jerusalem st 4 years ago and it was bad even then.... but as derry dolly says theres about four or five streets in that wee area that are the worst and are best avoided at times!

If you mean have I photographic or video evidence then the answer is no...
As I have said all along if it is true then it is a cowardly act and no one could deny that..
I have never said once it was true and have mentioned no names its just something I was told from someone who said he saw it happen..

I saw this myself... the said player hopped over the fence and made a bee line for yer man, they then exchanges boxes, it wasnt a case of one punch.  then laois men in tracksuits were slapping too.  I clearly heard the laois line shout obscenties at him and that included 'ha ha ye boy ye, yer caught, that camera was looking right at ye' which it was. I will be amazed if he doent receive a hefty ban for this. Stupid act, by a player now who should have learnt on a number of occasions.

i know i'd rather be stuck behind a tractor for a few miles rather than having some fcuker driving right behind ya or overtaking on corners or double white lines where are the guards then (looking for soft tartgets perhaps ) ok he should have pulled in when he got a chance but he penalty is way too harsh .

I dont think so, it will set an example, i would say people driving too slow cause more accidents than those drinving faster.
