The building control cert is only one of several documents you can use as evidence in the North
You Can also use rates cert or a letter from your bank or building society
You can make 1 claim 3 months after the date of the document you are using as evidence
See page 14 on this PDF - https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/828064/VAT431NB_form_and_notes.pdf

Has anyone got an idea what is the best product I can use to dampproof the inside surface of a poured concrete retaining wall?
I'm going to be building off the retaining wall and using it as the outer leaf of 100mm cavity wall for garage
I've to do around 9m x 2m.
Sheeting, spray on etc? Thanks

Is it still the case where these PCN letters aren't worth the paper they're printed on? Got one in March for Starplan carpark Boucher road belfast. It's a free carpark, but is "customer parking only"

Onto my 3rd letter now. They want £170(!) or it'll go to "QDR Solicitors Ltd".

Just want to be sure ignoring them is the way to deal with them. To hell with paying that sort of money for 30minutes parking. Of course I wasn't the driver at the time and refuse to divulge who was  8)

The letters will keep landing for around a year or so.  They'll eventually offer a reduced fee and if you ignore this they'll hike it up again. They'll threaten court action.  Few people pay.  Ignore and they'll stop eventually.

Weirdly received a letter from a debt recovery company today(actually they had sent it to my old address).
This was for a parking charge notice from 2016. I think at that time in 2016 they had sent me a number of letters which i ignored. Various threats of increasing charge, then decreasing it if i paid, then passing it on to their legal department who tried the same approach. Went for about 12 or 13 letters.
This one is from a diiferent company but i expect it is the same lot.
       Anybody else received these?

Got one as well in last few days
Was for parking at a retail park a few years ago
Hadn't heard from them in ages
Unfortunately can't check the details as it came in handy earlier to light the fire 😬

Selling a car at an auction (local machinery sale)
What do you do with the vehicle log book?
Hand it over to auctioneer or send away a part in advance/when sold?

Looking small bit of advice for someone on best way to pick up RTE/TG4, Virgin media etc in the North
No signal from the Saorview transmitters available and no NI Mux either
They had a southern sky card  (for nearly 10 yrs)  up to recent days but that has been cut off now without notice despite no issues with payment
Any ideas what the best way would be to get these channels back?

What's the story now for bringing a car into the North from GB with Brexit?
Anyone recommend reputable sites for used cars over there?

What's the thoughts on Fibrus and Project Stratum https://www.economy-ni.gov.uk/news/ps165m-broadband-improvement-contract-awarded-fibrus-networks-ltd

Will Fibrus be providing fibre to the premises for each of these 76,000 premises?

How's Healy park holding up for the junior final? Must have taken some rain all
Morning and afternoon.
That covering of sand will be needed today!
Weather could make it a real lottery

Optional Extras

External air supply kit - directs air from the outside into the stove to aid efficient combustion

That's from the Stanley website on the f650
I would go for the external supply if you can. Better control over the combustion
You will have 2 air controls on this set up. Usually a lever for the air supply from room and a knob for the thermostat controlling the external air supply

Looking at installing a Stanley Soilis F650 solid fuel stove. Similar to the Aoife only less traditional looking. Only issue I have is the ash tray is very small compared to the traditional types - not even an inch thick. No problem with emptying everyday but will it even last a day? Could it choke the air supply too when full?

Depends what you are burning. There's a fair bit of ash created burning turf
A lot less with well seasoned timber

Any of you lads thought about taking up the whistle?

Ah the classic line used to absolve Referees of any mistakes/bad performances.

It was a genuine question. But if you want to take it that way work away.

But just to add being called 'truly terrible', 'just awful' and ' a compete clampit' does what for recruiting referees? And then when there are no referees for games the ones on this board will whinge and cry about there being no referees in the county. I genuinely don't know why anyone would be a referee with the crap they get on and off the pitch. What a way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Without Refs there would be no games, be thankful these "terrible" "awful" "clampits" bother at all. Wouldnt be the 1st time Dromore charged a ref at the end of a game either

Note - Niall Sludden received a blow to the head during the first half and was concussed

Surely Dromore had a duty of care here not to put him back on then, poor on their part if this is true

I think he kicked a score when reintroduced

Why was Niall Sludden  taken off at half time and then brought on again? I know he was on a yellow but hardly reason to take off your main player
Errigal really dominated the middle field and breaking ball for the first 15 after h-t
