Shop beside me stocks the star, declan barron and had canning the odd time before they ceased. Never liked the declan barron hurls, any ive picked up the shaft felt very rounded to me.

Can you get Brian Walsh hurls in the 6 counties ?

There is a northern agent for them i think they work out of dunloy but i havent been able to get in touch with them.

Just wondering who is regarded as the best hurl maker today? Kids due new ones but find the torpey sticks in oneills garbage and bourkes hurls far too heavy. These are the shops selling hurls close to me in belfast, heard a fella saying juvenile hurls the ash wont be great no matter who the maker is, not sure how true this rings though.

Best surfaces ive seen this year has been the davitts and glenavy, thats including corrigan and dunsilly.

One of the best engines on that team looks like he has a belly but there are many far lighter than him that can't cover as much ground.

Cork aren't s physical as some of the munster ones either but we have definitely improved on the physicality stakes.

They are as leggy/pacey as any of the teams though. And I'm not 100% sure you can train that in players that don't have it, Cork have great running power. Lost count of the numner of times a Cork player took 3 steps and was away from his man yesterday.

Their problem is getting turned over in the tackle & getting over elaborate with the short stuff

Yeah, they have pace, which will suit well in Thurles and CP.

Will Cork beat Galway? I give them a real good chance.

Talking about conditioning etc its quite clear fitness is an issue, as games wear on we do seem to slow down quite a bit, seen it in croke against kerry, yesterday we lead by a point at ht but didnt get going at all 2nd half.

It was also noticeable cork were first to every breaking ball, and also passed antrim players with a few short paces, dont get me wrong Antrim have done well this year, maintained division 1 status, won the joe mcdonagh, played cork in a prelim quarter final but i hope we can make the next step.

Really noticeable - one or two lads side, Cork very clearly bigger, stronger, faster.

Couple belies there

Mad, how do ya have a belly with that amount of training and playing county level.

Davitts have some green shoots appearing, great facilities and with alan rainey doing well with antrim minors it can only benefit the davitts, some great hurlers coming through.

Fierce work being put in by the Davitts, hurling wise Rainey and Michéal has them here, there and everywhere and they're getting their rewards. Fair play to them.

Nowadays the spicy chicken wings or jalapeno & cheese arent bad.

Loved these! There was a sour cream and onion flavour too.
Tudors in general were a class crisp.

Found a ruffles crisp on holiday one year that was a very close match to the roast beef and pickle, suitcase was packed with them coming home lol.

The only crisps I can't eat are the flaming hot Cheetos...no enjoyment, literally sweating trying to get through a bag and the mouth burnt of ye.

Also tried horse radish flavor once...absolutely boggin!
