Fishead, You have some nerve to say that FF people will only vote FF, from reading your posts over the last few weeks I'm convinced that if a little pig walked down main street castlebar wearing a FG badge that not only would you vote for it you would be out canvasassing for it too.

Getting back to you point about Bev daring to vote against Kenny.I  dont think Bev will be to bothered about the castlebar electorate at the minute, they didn't exactly vote in numbers for her, if anything they let her down and let her family down. It was people in other parts of the county who elected her, and I as one would hope she would vote against Enda and his contract (as that was my reason for voting for her). Kenny and FG done their best to oust her.

I'm still at a loss why the people of Mayo voted for Kenny like they did, the last time he was in Government he was the minister for Tourism and Trade and delivered f**k all for the county......The last time a Flynn was in a minister position he delivered for the people of mayo and for castlebar in particular.

I wouldn't always agree with a lot Rosnarun would always say but in this instance I agree totally with him. I know I'm not a fan of the county board but there are serious questions that have to be answered. I have always wanted JOM in charge of the county side ( I have stated that on a number of occasions on this board), that was until I new he was going to run for office.

In the last three years he wouldn't take the job but sat on the sidelines making suggestion in the western and other media outlets undermining the people in charge. But low and behold there is an election coming then he take the mayo job ,and then allows himself to be nominated as a FG candidate for election. At this point you would think that the county board would do something about it but no....................we have a situation that Prenty is his director of elections and men like Goonan and Feeney going around canvassing for him. These people are using Mayo GAA for there own personal gain. I would love to know what Micky Moran thinks of the whole setup, it stinks in my opinion. Sport and politics should not mix and shame on the county board and JOM for doing that.

I'll love to see what happens when the county board goes looking for some of it annual donations, they might get a surprise or two.

Ive been to the celtic away and the fulham away, The fulham one was unreal.  Its pot luck with who you ask, if you want them enough you will get them.

Ive been over over 4 times this season, two home and two away. I'm heading to the last home match against west ham, I hope to god we pick up the title that day and get to send the hammers down!!!

The Trafford bar at the top of Matt Busby Way is always a good craic, some serious looking misters in there. the railway club is a dump but its a "nicer" atmosphere then a lot of the pubs, yuo have to pay "membership" to get in, its only 2 quid or so but the cheap booze more then makes up for it.

Dev has been the stand out half back in Mayo for the last few years when he has been fit, I just think that it is taking a bit of time to adjust to senior county football, he is very loose but that can be ironed out. He is still making his was back from some serious injurys.......................I'd give him the benifit of time.

Who do you replace him with?? Not A. Higgans, he is a corner back, and a very good one at that in my eyes. The only one that I could see replacing Dev at this stage would be Heaney. T howley maybe??

could you keep the election out of the football thread? If I wanted to read opinions on that I would go to the non GAA section.

As a Kiltane man I'm quite happy if that is the format for the league, we should be able to push on for a semi spot given the "strength" of Divion 1b!!!!

Plus a derby match against the two parsih club that is Belmullet, this time in Kiltane!!!!
