It doesn't offend me at all but it's ridiculously petty. I think they have a guideline for naming Derry.

Surely the bigger story is Nelson's commitment towards it, though?

Hard to beat Connor Gormley at the final whistle in 08 to be honest. Complete happenstance but summed up that game entirely.

It's getting harder and harder to argue for devolution. It's difficult to see what it has actually achieved. Maybe Robinson should just pull the plug.

If devolution goes then a United Ireland is inevitable.

Robinson is threatening to quit, or at least posturing towards that. It's a very, very strange situation, especially when you consider that it more or less rewards those who went on-the-run rather than stayed in the north/Britain. That said I imagine it will be years before we really find out what's happened here in the full light of day.

Kerrydale Street, one of the main Celtic boards, have a poll with a massive 60 point lead in favour of independence. It also has a large debate around the economic contingencies and eventualities of an independent Scotland.

None of you have a f**king clue what you're talking about if you think you can categorise people's politics according to the team they support. 'The majority of Celtic fans' are individuals with as much diversity as you would find on this board in terms of political opinions.

Anyone who leaves Canavan out is a troll.

Well I had Gooch, Matt Connor and Mikey Sheehy instead of Canavan and I don't think anyone could accuse that of trolling.
Obviously some people think Canavan was better than them but surely nobody could think he was so far better than Gooch, Connor and Sheehy that it's trolling not to include him?
I reckon most people would admit there's very thin lines in a lot of their picks e.g. I could easily have Egan, Joyce, Canavan instead of Gooch, Connor, Sheehy or D O Se and A Tohill instead of J O Shea and B Mullins.

+1 would be quite easy to pick another team of equal quality...it's just the mood you're in at a particular moment in time. Bit like your favourite movies or music.

All of this is nice, but Canavan was better than the Gooch.

Seems to me that Ulster always have a strong, full team out but none of the other counties bother. With full training etc. that Ulster team would win the All-Ireland at a canter - would any of the other provinces' selections do so?

Has anyone ever won a Railway Cup with two different provinces?

N Morgan; C Walshe, N McGee, C McKaigue; K McKernan, K Lacey, P Harte; D Givney, S Cavanagh; C Mackey, M Poland, J Kielt; C McManus, M Murphy, M Donnelly.

The spine of the team if everyone was fit would have to be like that anyhow. McManus & Walshe the only two other certs.

Between Nolan and Lesser Spotted 6 county statelet it's pretty awful alright.
