Perhaps there's a better thread....however....

Anyone any useful recommendations to prevent condensation gathering on the inside of windows at this time of the year....

Just a problem in the winter mornings....
I've the same problem
Apparently the solution is to install a Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) fan to remove humidity from the air
I had a guy supposed to come over the summer to put one in but never did, thinking of doing it myself

Some people run dehumidifiers in the house if drying washing indoors

Thanks- dehumidifiers listed as one of the options online- something to think about...

I sleep with my window on the latch to improve air flow and I'd never have condensation on the window. Obviously if you like a warm house leaving windows on the latches will let heat escape though

100%- I'd be happy enough with that in my room although the Missus would have something to say!

It's the kids rooms mainly

Anyone got any useful advice relating to pensions or investment plans?

Recommendations etc?

Probably a bit late thinking about this- in my late 30's- and with only the employers pension in play...

Would love to here some opinions on this all.....fear I've left it all a bit late....

Amber Springs in Gorey in Wexford is very family oriented with play parks, play areas, animal farm etc.  Gorey's a nice place with some good restaurants.

Kelly's in Rosslare has a good reputation though i've never been.  Hard to get a booking in it.

Thanks for this

I'd say Chrissy McK gets one....nailed on...

Rodgers should....has been incredible......but after the Galway game not so sure now....

McCluskey should but wont....he's been absolutely brilliant....

Not sure on others....Glass...McGuigan etc....cannot see it...

Dinner in Irvinestown last night 8 adults 6 kids most having 3 course meals the total bill without drinks 275 pounds

Was it a fancy sppt?

You'd think about £20 per adult per head plus £10 per child per head would cover that?

That's £220.

Never getting an Adult 3-course meal for £20?

I have 3 complaints about the first half

1. Why was the Glass score not given when Walsh's was
2. There was a clear footblock from a scoreable position
3. Benny Heron was tripped at the top of the D and should have been a free in

No conplaints  about the second half other than the keeper jogging back to goal when he was caught up the pitch. He mightn't have made it but jesus make an effort!!
Just re-watched it.
- Herron trip was free in.
- Very obvious foot block.
- Hawkeye decision was massive momentum change.
- 3 very handy frees to start the second half ended the game.
- It was painful to watch Derry player after player not take on the shot in the second half, or play the long ball in when they actually had men up. They had plenty of opportunities from 35 yds odd, but time and again turned them down.
- Galway were almost as poor attacking as Derry. Didn't score for 20 mins, then managed 4 (3😉) before ht. Got 3 soft frees and a goal in the next 10 mins and only managed another goal and a point in the remaining 30 mins. The keeper was roaming for the goal and the point was a keeper error.
- Comer was the best player on the pitch, really made it happen for Galway and dragged them to victory.
- Galway defence was excellent as was their second half press on the kickouts.
- Had to be a hard watch for a neutral!
No complaints, the better team won, but it's hard to see them being competitive in the final.

No complaints, just a nice set of bullet points on your complaints observations

In fairness I think Onefineday's analysis is spot on here?

Although... that is a beautiful use of the substrike and a nice play on complaints/observations!

Might be a mixture of price increase plus the summer holidays with the kids off but the electric has jumped up approx 40% per week!
