My thoughts exactly!

Haven't tried that resetting menu + select thing, will give it a go.

Yep the first thing I did was check out 5 r's, nothing seems to have worked, as I said only for all the hassle with the delivery  I would seriously consider returning it.

Thanks for the help, my first Ipod & the whole situation has been a disaster from start to finish!

Sometimes it will cut off in the middle of a song, other times it freezes as I'm trying to scroll through various menus & the graphics for the albums, sometimes they appear, sometimes they don't!

As regards Apples delivery, this is where all my problems stemmed from, after the delivery company leaving a note to say they'd be calling the next day, I rang them to arrange delivery so that I could be there, I'd already missed them twice.  I took the day off work specifically & waited all day on a delivery that never arrived.  I rang them on the Monday & the phone call which I had made to specify a delivery date had never been actioned!  I had 3 or 4 weeks constant hassle with Apple & although things were resolved in the end 4 or 5 weeks after my initial order I still would never recommend shopping online with them, it's easier to go in & get what you want in a shop & the prices seem to be the same.

Never, ever purchase from the Apple website!  I eventually ended up with an Ipod classic after I'd actually ordered an engraved Ipod nano.  It took weeks for all the problems with Apple to be resolved & at the end of the day I have an Ipod classic which still doesn't seem to work properly despite having been restored once & reset flip knows how many times, I just can't be bothered going through the hassle of trying to return it after everything I went through to receive it in the first place.

Sean Mone from Keady had a song entitled "Transit Van", not sure if this is the same song though.

Noseying on here for years before actually becoming a member at the start of this year.  Unfortunately my workplace block access every now & again so I'm not always able to access this site, no day feels complete without checking out what's happening on GAA Board!

On RTE's Sports news pages, it states that Derry's Kieran McKeever will be coming in at wing half back in place of Aaron Kernan!

Ulster v Leinster in Parnell Park a couple of years ago was held the Saturday night after the GPA Awards which had occurred on the Firday night.  The previous night's "celebrations" were clearly visible amongst the Ulster team!

I'm heading to Ballybofey on Saturday, I've always enjoyed this competition.  Like everyone else though I'd be interested to see who is on the team/panel for Ulster & indeed Connacht!

All Saints cover of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers "Under the Bridge", sacrilege!

"The Irish 80's divison", these songs all bring me back to my youth, when I was still taping songs like these off the radio, ah the good old days.

I had what I called my "lucky jeans", they had been worn to all the Champiosnship matches & possibly League matches leading up to & including the AI Final in 2002 (yep the 22nd of September was a great day that year).  The "lucky jeans" ended up with a rip at the bum which I only discovered at the end of the AI Semi Final against Donegal (it was probably the jumping up & down for Stevie's goal which caused the rip).  Anyway because I couldn't actually wear the jeans to the Final in 2003, I made my Dad carry them in his bag, unfortunately the jeans were obviously only lucky when I wore them as everyone knows how that day turned out!  I do still have them lying somewhere, but no longer consider them to be that lucky, they will however always remain my AI 2002 jeans.

Last night's BB, Charley involved in yet another row were the other person doesn't get a chance to speak, now there's something new!!!  My dislike of the girl continues, does she not realise that the general public will have seen her twisting every row/argument to suit herself, the sooner she's up for nomination & out the better.

Really liking Gerry & even Seany isn't as irritating as I originally thought he would be, bet Ziggy can't wait for some more males to enter the house though for a bit of back up with all those screaming, b*tching girls.
