Any ideas for a high end place that isnt boring?

Thinking Mexico/Jamaica/Carribbean etc but not tied to them

All ideas appreciated as I am at a loss with this

A friend of mine is currently partying in Dubai, and going by her social media she's nonstop

My wife wouldn't be fussed on that stuff but it looks great

Had looked at that but the Instagram crowd wouldnt be our scene. Would look out of place anyway without Turkey teeth

Absolutely no way in hell it was a red for the initial tackle/hot.

Could the red have been for the jab to the face when there was some handbags afterwards?

Quote from: the_daddy on January 26, 2024, 12:00:36 PMThe banks get everyone, every way. A shopowner told me the rates were cheaper for him to use his own cash to fill the in-store ATM, and keep the ATM free, than it was to lodge it in the bank. However, if I'm expected to pay to withdraw cash from an ATM then why should I take the hit rather than the retailer? It's probably at the stage that card payments need to be factored into the price and give discount accordingly for cash.
F**king hate those charges on the ATMs. Refuse to pay them. I'll walk 1/2 a mile to get another machine than pay £1.25 to withdraw my own money.
I tend to be more card now. To the extent it's a nightmare getting £1's for afterschool/ clubs etc. got one of those new thin wallets with no room for coins so rarely have cash at all. Keep the shrapnel in the car for parking/ tolls etc. love the factor bars are card now. Saves a lot of hassle!!

This + 1000
I would walk a mile rather than pay to take my own money out.

For small independent local shops I would try to use cash.

For the larger/corporate businesses I use card

Anodyne, dull, instantly forgettable. Remove their entire catalogue from the annals of music and nothing changes.

Can I +1 this twice.
Monotone. Boring.

Can I +1 this thrice?

Boring boring band

Enjoy the first 10 years lads and lassies.

Because after that the fun period stops in my opinion. The real world starts to appear on their horizon and the innocence of life for them slowly starts to disappear

Nope - good show and worth watching.
But it clashes with Love Island now - decisions decisions

Great entertainment,  last nights show was brilliant.

Traitors or Love Island the all stars (proper title)

Poor Jake had to leave, he didn't love anyone and Liberty shafted him....  ;)

Seemed like Jake matured a bit in the last few years and got the f**k out of dodge.

Paul is playing a great game in Traitors. Why Miles didnt really sink him last night when he knew he was going to get the chop is a mystery.

The booze is a killer for the weight.

Can eat decent enough with 'treats/takeaways' thrown in and still maintain a decent weight but as soon as you booze each week I find it a piles the weight on.

Like a few here I had taken to drinking each weekend in the last couple of years and continued it.

Bottle of wine and a can or two each night - not a good recipe

Quote from: Norm-Peterson on January 04, 2024, 01:05:42 PMI am a fan of the first 2 Home Alone movies so I don't mind Christmas although I watch them in the spring/summer too. I am not of fan of Elf which seems to have become a classic.

Ah you can't  not  watch  the first two Home Alone's if they're on.  Back to the future the  same. Never found Elf in any way  funny though.

Saw the first Home Alone. Havent seen the second one, or BTTF or Elf.

Quote from: maldini on December 15, 2023, 02:44:51 PMHow did they arrive at £8,065 per club in Down for example?
There are 45-50 clubs I was expecting around 20k per club?

An amazing gesture for all clubs, just curious

Thought the same - mind you this is only clickbait in many instances saying what each club get. Sure they wouldne even know how its being distributed in individual counties.

Could come down to x amount if you have 1 club, x + y if you have ladies and gents, x + y + z if you have ladies/gents/hurling/camogie etc

Are they about to go back into Stormont?

Bryson in full flow, time they ignored that bollox but the loyalist "stakeholders" and the OO will also have their say, yet they still get on their high horse over "SF/IRA"!!!
Dodds and Sammy will be trying to scupper this as well.

Donaldson could sell this as a win, but he lacks backbone and will need to read the room as patience is running out on the DUP with the NHS in freefall and the education sector looking at a swathe of redundancies if more budget isn't secured for 2024.

I assume the Nolan show?
Bryson is a mouthpiece who needs something to shout about to stay relevant with his UVF friends. Shouldn't be given the time of day.
Likewise with the OO. Are the a religious organisation or a political one?
They should be given as much say as the Catholic church in the running of a state.

Exactly this - but anyone who follows him on social media is to blame for giving him a platform.

Even worse are those who reply to him - this simply gives him ammo for future tweets.

Its amazing these people dont realise that they are part of the problem
