augher goin very well. would be unbeaten only for sean cavanagh show in round 2. must say ive found the clubs games so far very enjoyable. a great tonic after watchin the county muck. the mark has be an excellent rule and teams seem to be really usin it to their advantage.

Hugh McGeary never played for pomeroy, got injured on the tyrone weekend. McNabb and Sludden didn't play for Dromore either. K McGeary, Burns and McCarron played.

Tiernan McCann didn't play against Clonoe. The outfield Tyrone players on both sides were down with cramp on numerous occasions in the 2nd half, clearly a tough weekends training over them. Bradley went of injured in the 2nd half.

McGeary, Burns and McCarron were clearly not at the races yesterday. All three looked lethargic, especially McGeary.

Not crazy as 23 other games were fixed for sunday night be unfair on pomeroy and dromore county men to be heading off for a training weekend after an hour of intense football.No doubt the game should have been called off sooner.

Is it not crazier just being home from an intense training weekend and expected to play an intense club game that evening. It suited both Pomeroy and Dromore to have the game played tonight. Let's not forget these games were originally fixed for tonight until the Omagh club disputed the Thursday night fixture. Carmen just about deserved the win today. Pomeroy had plenty of chances and had they taken them we would have won it. Carmens experience and knowhow won it for them.

Joe has family connections in Tyrone and was their chief cheerleader back in the noughties. now that you mention the 2015 relegation could someone please tell me what happened on that final league game v Kerry. The match were Mickey Harte did not turn up and overlooked his assistant Gavin Devlin(which was strange) to take the team but instead drafted in his old friend Tony Donnelly. What happened Mickey? Was he sick? If so, why did he get out of his sick bed, get dressed go up to kellys inn, pick the team, give the team talk but was still not fit enough to go to Healy park? Very odd. I suppose the narrative will be it was Tony Donnelly relegated Tyrone not Mickey Harte. Unreal.

In Omagh watching the match last night. Hoped to see good game. What rubbish. That'll do me for county games. What is these super coaches doing with these cubs kept under lock and key for months? We played them in a friendly in early january and I did tell you'd the brand of football they play is awful!!

If you're talking about their wins in the early 80s, I'd say that tradition ended as a tradition somewhere in that 30+ year gap. it would have had little impact on 2015. They do have a long time competitive tradition in senior Championship which counts for a lot.
I'm saying the players there in 2015 all had a wealth of experience.

Omagh look like the best bet.
I doubt if Pomeroy will be prepared for Senior Championship. It's a big step up.
In comparison to Trillick, Trillick had a lot of people seasoned in Senior Championship.

We probably won't be I still think we're capable of asking a few questions of Killyclogher. If we can consolidate our status in division one for a few years, I see no reason why we can't beat some of the bigger teams. Our last 7/8 minor teams have all played grade one football and are used to playing and beating the big names so they'll have no inferior complex.

Would have preferred a handier draw than killyclogher. We've nothing to lose, hopefully we'll keep it respectable!

I'd love to see Pomeroy draw Carrickmore. I think we'd test them!

Apparently we have lined up Peter Doherty and Conal Sheridan to replace Harte and O'Donnell. I have to admit I know very little about Sheridan but I know Doherty has managed a number of high profile clubs. Hopefully they can continue the good work of harte and O'Donnell.
