I downloaded one of the free software choices listed on the gov MTD page. I think it's called Easy MTD. It was all straightforward but I'm an accountant. Im using the bridging software and continuing to record everything on spreadsheet but that's really only an option for a very small business.

One gripe I have with ROP is that the most primitive race nearly all have bad Irish accents. It feels a bit racist to me - why can't they have russian or australian accents?

Would that not still be racist to them? They have an accent, so. If you look to be offended then you will be, at anything

It would still be racist, yes, but I'd have no gripe with it

General discussion / Re: Six County Census Results 2021

Off on a bit of a tangent here but I would love to know how many acres of land are owned by British Only and how many are owned by Irish only. I suspect it would still be very predominately BO.

Not that it's got anything to do with anything, I'd just love to know how green the map is from a physical perspective.

Can we get this onto the next census? - after all if they can ask what your orientation is surely they can ask what acres/cattle you have.

I have 0 acres.

Identity - A significant drop in those regarding themselves as British only in the last ten years.

                      2011 - 2021
British -          40% - 31.86%
Irish -             25% - 29.16%
N. Irish (::)) -  21% - 19.78%

These are the figures that the DUP will work on

I can't get my head round these eejits queuing, currently a 12 hour wait  :-\

To us that is mental but to your average English person this is their Queen. It is huge for them and this is one of the most significant historical events in English history.  It would be churlish to underestimate that. The concept of Great Britain is teetering on the edge. She has been a constant for the majority of the population the whole of their lives. This is a huge moment in history and many want to be part of it. At the heel of the hunt though they reckon about half a million will visit her over the period of laying in state. With a population of close to 70m that's only a drop in the ocean.

It is clearly nuts, but I do remember as a child, queueing in a very long line to file past the coffin of Cardinal O'Fiaich many years ago in the Cathedral in Armagh

Us Irish are not averse to getting caught up in a bit of hysteria either

The wife couldn't understand the walking past the coffin but I remembered doing the same for the Cardinal. 1990 I see it was. I'm sure it was 30 minutes though and not 12 hours. If John Hume had lived to see the 32 counties as one and maybe became its first president, we'd all have gladly walked past that coffin too.

There is value then if you choose to factor in the better facilities and seating and even the better class of fan   ;)

And what about draws? does your premium ticket get you another ticket for replay? Or maybe draws are a thing of the past.

We need a September heatwave boys. I'm down to 4 inches in the tank, been waiting the whole summer for a drop in prices  :-[
