Does any one remember the Roscommon " incident" a few years ago. Well I was umpireing at a game between Galway and Roscommon in Tuam. A rather loose tackle occured further up the field( for loose read dirty) The Galway keeper said to me, Umpire did you see who that was,
I said yes but I would`nt recognise him with his clothes on! the golkeeper then said f++k up one of them is standing on the front of the square. It was a totally spontaneous thing I said, not planned or anything, but I thought it was funny. ::)

The All-Stars team was made up of mostly guys who played in Showbands. I remember playing one night in Ardee, I don`t remember going home though,it was great craic.Gene Stuart also had a team playing for a few years. They were called The Tyrone All-Stars. I was on that team with Declan Nearney.Arty Mc Glynn,Tony Cannon, Gene Stuart,(we had to play him as he owned the ball) Gene Fitzpatrick,Billy Mullen and many more I cant recall at the moment. All the games were usually a draw, the ref always robbed us. I have a photo of that team somewhere at home. After the game there would have been a bit of a concert for some charity.Boy those were the good old days, before it was a sin to drink and drive!!! I would`nt tell my friends that I played for Tyrone as I`m from Armagh and would be run out of town even yet. ;D

Granemore V Maghery is changed to Fri 6th Nov. by agreement with both clubs. The time and venue is still the same. Not sure if the ref will be cross or not,he may be in a good mood!!! ;D

If your DVD player has a tuner band,(can you watch tv stations on it ). If so then surroundsound should work. Is it standard surround or 5.1 home cinema? ???

Do you have a surround mode button on your TV remote?

If you go online to Curry`s store and see what you want and order it on line, then arrange online to pick it up in store, you get a good discount, the same applies with PC world.I worked for them in the service part of the Dixons group. :D

There is NO advantage rule in Gaelic football, it is down to common sense by the ref. Pat Mc Enaney is a good example how to apply this. :-*

One of the big problems  would appear to have been the actions of the PSNI. Who else would spray pepper spray to clear out a hall, where people were doing nothing. The fight was outside with the bouncers. The peelers then antagonise everybody and get them all out side. Some crowd control ability shown there. Any wonder people lost the rag. :o

Sammy Wilson was right after all. ;D

Whats wrong with gays? I would help them out when they are busy. I also do the same for alcoholics at the week ends when they are busy. ;D
